ARMY OF DARKNESS vs. DARKMAN #1

Dynamite Entertainment has provided Newsarama with a four page preview of next week’s Army of Darkness vs. Darkman #1 (of 4). The solicitation for the issue reads:

BY STERN AND BUSIEK, ART BY JAMES FRY; COVERS BY: GEORGE PEREZ, NICK BRADSHAWAND PHOTO (IN EQUAL RATIO)

Dynamite presents the cross-over no one thought they would ever see - Ash and Darkman as we present Army of Darkness/Darkman #1!

Taking the place this month of the regular AOD series, AOD/Darkman is a new bi-monthly AOD mini-series, featuring the creative team of the legendary Roger Stern, Kurt ("Superman") Busiek and artist James Fry! Joining this all-star creative team is DC Exclusive artist George ("Infinite Crisis") Perez and AOD favorite Nick Bradshaw on the issue #1 covers (we'll also throw in a cool photo cover!)

It all begins in October and wait until you see how we got these two together, and what they're going to do in this special mini-series event! Don't miss out and don't forget to ask your local retailer about the special incentive covers!

I wonder what Ash will think of Darkman's Bruce Campbell mask from the first movie

If the regular AoD series looked this good I'd be buying it.

Wait, so what issue is this technically if its going to be taking the place of the monthly? Cause thats what i sounded like just then. Not that I'm complaigning, because I love all things AOD.

This actually looks great.

"Deadites! I Hate those guys!"

It's okay, nobody is buying this for the writing anyway.

And yet, it's better writing than the Xena comic.

Just a seperate 4 issue mini. Not part of the regular numbering system of AOD. LOL even though they say that one's ending with 13.
