I was quite impressed by the zero issue. I thought Greg Pak really nailed it, and I don't think it's an easy show to get right. I'm looking forward to issue #1. It's one of only two series I'm not waiting for the trade to buy (the other is 52).

I don't know.
I wasn't thrilled by number one, and I know nothing big will happen since it can't affect the show's continuity.

Anyone know where the Billy Tan, Michael Turner and cast photo covers are posted? I'd like to see what my other options are besides a so-so Starbuck cover...

I don't know. The story seemed pretty big to me, in terms of ability to put the characters through the emotional wringer. Yeah, they can't kill of Starbuck or anything like that. But once the TV series started skipping weeks and months between episodes, it made room for a lot of interesting "in-between" character stories.

i agree. the only comparison i have is BUFFY, where they filled in between episodes, or the one story "HAUNTED" that takes place between buffy season 3 and 4. The issue #0 of BG said it takes place between episodes 2.05 and 2.06?? there could be some pretty great character bits. there is an entire missing year of stories to tell from the season two finale.
and am i just a dork for wanting cast photos covers?

These guys screwed up big time by having such a huge delay between the 25-cent #0 and #1. A lot of the people off the street who bought #0 were looking for #1 the next month, but they've gradually stopped coming in. This, along with the fact that they hid interior art for the longest time, kept my orders conservative.

My mistake; it was #0 (it was 25 cents or something).

You're a perv but I have to agree. That said, Raynor's art doesn't do justice to Kara. She's more attractive in a normal kind of way, Raynor's Kara looks like the average Hollywood pretty girl.

Not digging the art, but I'm so hooked on BSG that I'm gonna get it... yes, no major plot points will come from this, but good character stuff can.

Participating in a scene like that is all very well. WATCHING it seems pretty icky to me.
