Those people (Lennon, Nelson and Jesus) didn't look alike, and I didn't look like any of 'em. It was just a hair and beard thing. I don't hear much of that anymore. Must be the crazed look in my eyes, kinda like that of the insane panhandlers who hang out in downtown N'Awlins. When I first moved to N'Awlins, I used to hang out downtown a lot. I wasn't insane. New Orleans is a very strange city, much stranger than Chicago, for instance, where I've also lived. I listened to a lot of blues music when I lived in Chicago. I listened to a lot of soul and funk and voodoo when I was in New Orleans. Now, I live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains. I work in Asheville. It's a hippie city. I listen to a lot of jamband music now. I've done a lot of things to earn money, from working construction in Florida to teaching philosophy at Tulane University. Now I'm a copy editor. I used to read Kierkegaard, Sartre, Heidegger, Kant, Descartes, Derrida, Foucault, etc. Now I read comics. That's why I'm here.

Hello Everybody!
Some of you might know me, some of you probably don't. My name is Stephanie and I live in Vegreville, Alberta, Canada (which is one hour east of Edmonton). I'm 29, no kids, and I have a crazy love life. I've been reading comics since I could remember. It helps to have a mom and sister into comics too.
I couldn't decide which photo of mine to upload. I thought this one really shows me from the inside.
I have a swack more pics, with clothes, here. You can tell I like dressing up or playing in the Ikea ball room. ^_^
I haven't been posting much because I've been really busy with work and life in general. I'm a graphics techie and work in the print graphics industry. I worship Adobe programs and my Wacom tablet. I haven't used a mouse in two years. Lately I've been teaching myself web design and I have a hobby website I'm building that focuses on Comics based on Video Games I just started this week. I'm really excited with my progress so far.
I'm pretty obsessed with video games (look at my signature), and eventually, I will own all of the console systems!!! Mwaa-hahahaha!!! I'm pretty bad. I import systems, games and peripherals from Japan. My other obsession is a toyline from Takara Japan called Cool Girl. I absolutely love food and cooking and I'm very experimental so many of my recipes are invented by me.
I have a blog that I don't update enough, but I try.

I'm glad you asked .
You probably recognize Hilary Duff, so I asume it's the pretty lady on the left you're confused about. That would be Amanda Bynes, who recently turned 18. She became successful in the Nickelodeon show "The Amanda Show" and has also starred in a couple of movies, including "Big Fat Liar" and "What A Girl Wants".
Hope that cleared things up. Oh, and here's some pics of her (those are mostly for my enjoyment ):
Oh, and just in case anyone forgot how Hilary Duff looks:

Hey Steph, welcome back! I think the geisha picture looks really cool! And you're hot!
So how did you get into the Ikea ballroom? They never let me in to play (damn "You gotta be this tall" signs).

I remember a post that went a little something like this... Have you guys ever been to the comic store and saw a HOT chick picking up the latest issue of blah blah blah....
I don't know about you guys but I'd say there are some dang good lookin girls who read comics right here on this board. So much for you guys being able to complain about that subject anymore.

When there are no kids around nobody is looking so you dive in fast and get your brother to take pics before anyone sees.

There are a few women who buy comics at my shop. Typically everyone looks at them nervously in silence until they leave--then the comments start. "She totally wants to do me." Yeah, five minutes ago you almost had an aneurysm when she said "Excuse me" while walking past you, stud.
There are a pair of twins who come in on occasion with this one guy who the owner tells me are porn stars. I'm not sure if I believe him or not, but they could sell a few videos.

Fun stuff, Stephanie. Thanks for the link. I like the river photo. There's nothing quite like hanging out at a river or mountain stream.

My name is Peter Geddes, I am 32 and I live in Guernsey (a rock floating between England and France).
I DID enjoy gymming and running but I dislocated and damaged both my knees last year and had the kneecaps replaced last Christmas...Might need the op again this Winter
I was adopted and don't know who my blood parents were...I'm still waiting to discover my Kryptonian super-powers!
I love Star Trek, The Shield and CSI and hugely enjoy travelling to different places, my current favourite being the Western U.S. I hope to visit either Florida or Texas next year, funds permitting.
My favourite comics characters are the X-Men and Devil Dinosaur (naturally..!)
I have two pictures on my P.C... One of me drunk (and looking...heavy) eating dips with my fingers in my Excalibur hotel room.
...So it'll have to be the kilt picture instead
