EVS and Gail Simone's project (WWPhilly News edition)

So I walked up to Ethan, and conspiritorially I said, "So, it's Plastic Man, right?" and he just started laughing.

His response...
"I've been saying everywhere, 'Gail Simone is THE Wonder Woman writer of this generation. I want to work with Gail, on Wonder Woman!' Why hasn't anyone picked up on that?"

Submitted without further comment.

It could be an annual or a series of one shots.

He needs 2.5 months per issue (or, at least, that's what JLA #20 took), so unless he's getting like a year's head-start, probably not that long.

It's clearly going to be Plastic Man disguised as Wonder Woman.

I would find that hilarious and for some fans that would be the best of both worlds... fairly creepy but some fans would enjoy it.

it only took him that long cause he did so much on it. he said it was his best work. probably cause he kept redoing things

He also inked it himself. I dunno how long inking usually takes, but that must've added a good few weeks on to it.

Didn't they say they only have the idea for it so far? As in, it hasn't been approved? I don't remember that announcement.

how do you figure he needs a 2.5 months an issue just because of JLA 20?

Wonder Plastic? That's good my friend, but what I think will really increase sales is if we call it: Plastic Woman.

It's got money written all over it!

See, he's definitely saying it's Plastic Man. Gail and EVS came on here the other day and confirmed it.

We're all laughing, but...the color scheme matches.

Matter of fact, I recall at least one time (in JLA maybe) where Plas DID make himself look like WW (albeit a very cartoony Bill Ward version) - can anyone pull a panel to show I'm not hallucinating?

And hell, Plas did that gag with masquerading as Barda's dress; doing Wonder Woman's costume would be, well...DC doesn't have an adult line yet, but we may have just come up with the first issue of one.
