Actually, at least using our numbers, we are selling more Hercs than we sold Hulks pre-WWH. A fantastic book that is still gaining more and more readers.

You don't know what you're missing, amigo. This series rocks.
Greek god + boy genius + coyote pup = hella fun.

Yep. It's a fantastic book. And in the Top 50. So...chances are awesome that it sold more than 20 copies.

The entire team on this book is pretty bad ass. That penciler Sandoval is going to be the next Jim Lee or John Byrne or Jack Kirby...

Awesome

I hope this means Marvel is keeping the Herc title with Pak and Van Lente for the forseeable future.

I've loved the Hercules character ever since the Bob Layton 80's mini's, but Amadeus Cho was SO annoying during WWH that it totally turned me off on getting the book...

I hated Cho has much as anyone during WWH, but he's gotten a lot less annoying; particularly, the first arc ends with him finally getting humbled a bit.

Annoying kid sidekicks never appealed much to me.

if they can kill Cho off, then bring him back years later as an assassin/anit-hero, then I'm there!

This book is awesome. Definitely in my Top Ten books right now. I'm glad the readership didn't drop off too much when they made the switch. I hope Skaar does just as well as this because that book looks astonishing.

Glad it's doing well. It's a shame there are people out there who won't even try the book for whatever reason. It's easily one of the best comics Marvel's publishing right now--consistently hilarious with spot-on characterization. I hope Pak and Van Lente get to continue with Herc in some form, even if it's in a separate title whenever this returns to Incredible Hulk, and Sandoval's art is an excellent complement to their portrayal of Herc. Every time I think of Herc kicking over that tree in a huff, I still chuckle.

Also, since I know Van Lente lurks around Newsarama now and then: Could you see if Paul Cornell will loan you the Black Knight for an issue or two? Dane and Herc are one of my favorite odd couples in comics.

This along with Daredevil and Capt. America is tied as my favorite Marvel book. I hope that Pak and Van Lente have a longggggg run on this book

Never bought it when it was Hulk.... Loving the Hercules storyline... leave Hulk where he is and continue with the great job Pak!

I wouldn't mind the Hulk taking back "The Incredible" and giving Herc his own comic called "Hercules: The Lion of Olympus" or "The Legendary Hercules" or, of course, the classic "Herc & Cho (with Pup in Tow)."

I applaud you sir. What would be a Hercules thread without some humor?

Thanks for chiming in from the Bizarro World, Jeff. Or should that be "No thanks"? I could never keep your people's backwards logic straight.

Actually I bought the first 2 issues after the title switch, and it didn't appeal to me. I loved Pak's Hulk and want more. I'm not saying there shouldn't be a Hercules title, but I want THIS title to be back to what it was, a Hulk title up over 100 issues that had great momentum and sales from Planet Hulk through WWHulk and then just fell since the switch
