Fisk and Fury fought in the war together in... 1943. 8)
Howlett sounds familiar.
Edit Ah, Wolverine.
Wolverine, Kingpin, and Nick Fury fought together in World War II and are all still active in the modern day.
Nice.

James Howlett AKA Wolverine.
So your statement should read "Wolvie, Fisk and Fury fought in the war to gether in... 1943. 8)"
I don't have a problem with those three being in a war together, in a lot of ways it makes sense.
But 60 years ago? Fisk and Fury aren't supposed to be in their 70's or 80's in the stories we read now are they? They sure as heck LOOK younger.

When a man and a woman love each other very much, they might consider having a baby. That baby could be a boy or girl. Usually, especially in olden times in America, the baby's last name is that of the father, because a child out of wedlock is a bastard and doesn't have a soul.
Anyway, come on guys. If you have to nitpick...i can't even bring myself to finish that sentence.

Been looking forward to this for a while, and it looks good from these previews. No interest in Ultimatum (LOOOEEBB) but as a fan of the Ultimate line, well, mostly Ultimate Spider-Man, I've been waiting for it since Bendis announced it.
Anyway, I'm willing to bet that that's our Fury, but that's almost certainly not Wilson Fisk. For one, it doesn't sound a thing like him.

Or maybe it's from a different time period, seeing as the story does span the Ultimate universe's backstory. Vietnam maybe?
Whether I'm right or wrong, it does look pretty cool, might just pick it up.

Could be a different Fisk and Fury, y'know. Their fathers, or uncles, perhaps.

This looks great. With everything going on, I wouldn't be suprised if this had something to do with Secret Invasion. Or someone in the regular Marvel U experimenting. Looking forward to seeing how this plays out.

If it's him, sixty some-odd years later, he might sound completely different.

(wish this was the same creative team for Ultimatum.)
I figure for me this is kind of the last hurrah for the Ultimate Universe before Loeb FUBARs it.

well, Wolverine is Canadian (that's still true in the Ult. 'verse, right?), and they kind of seem like they might be "up to something" so likely there's more to the story then what's revealed on those pages.
