I love the NA cover, and the pencil variant is a pencil variant, but man, the SI 2 cover is terrible - way too cluttered, and with too much noise around the logo.

They must have known they'd go back to print on these - did they just blow through their entire library of covers on variants so they were stuck with mediocre internal art?

i'd guess the cover spoils something for SI #3 and/or MA #14, both of which will come out before the 2nd print...

Personally I like the "interior art" covers quite a bit. I get so tired of covers not being done by the artist of the book, and usually having little or nothing to do with what's going on in the inside. Ala the first prints of New #40 and Mighty #12.

I'm not suprised SI #2 sold out at Diamond. Every other copy we recieved at the store was damaged with a crease next to the top staple.
Lo and behold ... every other copy of the replacements we recieved was damaged too !

If all the retailers have claimed for the same damages then its not much of a sell out to shout about.

Anyone else notice this ?
