FINDING PEACE

IDW Publishing and Charlie Foxtrot Entertainment have provided Newsarama with an exclusive, 53-page preview of their new original graphic novel, Finding Peace. The solicit info reads:

"Finding Peace contains three stories, each unique and yet all connected by a single, tragic thread—the desperate search for peace in times of both declared and undeclared war. Set in an unnamed country ravaged by civil war, the three stories are presented in reverse chronological order, showing where things are… before finally depicting where things have been. It will be up to the reader to ultimately decide if the situation has improved, or whether the dangers and tragedies of war only wear different masks during times of peacekeeping—new disguises that simply hide the same, deadly monsters underneath.

Created by acclaimed comic book writer Tom Waltz (Children of the Grave) and artist/writer Nathan St John, and including an introduction by New York Times best-selling author William R. Forstchen, Finding Peace exposes the thin, fragile line that exists between war and peace, as well as the ever-expanding chasm of misunderstanding that separates those who fight from those who do not."

Finding Peace is being co-published by IDW Publishing and Charlie Foxtrot Entertainment (www.charliefoxtrotfilms.com). The book has gone to the printer and will available in May 2008.
