NYCC '08: INCREDIBLE HULK VIDEO INTERVIEW

Before they sent fandom into a frenzy with confirmation of a crossover (at some level) between the upcoming Iron Man and Incredible Hulk films Saturday at the New York Comic Con, Incredible Hulk director Louis Leterrier, producer Gale Anne Hurd, star Tim Roth (Emil Blonsky), and Marvel Studios President of Production Kevin Feige talked to Newsarama.

In the following preview of the interview, Roth tells us about how his character differs from the comic book version, and Leterrier addresses rumors about that 26 minute Hulk/Abomination fight scene at the end of the film. Here's a hint, the rumors are a slight exaggeration.

Look for the full interview here at Newsarama soon...

It's good to know that the final fight is not 26 minutes. I agree that a fight that long would get boring.

The intro and exit sound effects were way too loud, lol.

Other than that, I'm actually excited about this movie :-D

Three posts in a little less than a day.
Not a good sign if you're gaging interest.
Iron-man had better pay off on Marvel's investment cause there doesn't seem to be a lot of positive indicators for the Hulk.

As much as I'm excited by the Hulk and Iron Man (I'll see both on the first day of opening), I have to reluctantly agree with your sentiments.

I think the main problem with Hulk has been timing - bad move to put two major Marvel films on in cinemas in the same year, but only weeks apart from each other!!! Really, any product like this should have at least a six month barrier between each other - not only are they competing with Batman, but with each other? Not very smart...

Secondly, Iron Man has been getting most of the publicity - and Downey Jr. has been an absolutely fantastic spokesman for the film (I've yet to see such a charming, down-to-earth, self deprecating person as he in a long time). And where is Norton? Nowhere in sight, which is really, really bad practice. If the star of the film isn't promoting their own film, why would the main audience go to see it?

Anyway... at least we'll have two Hulk fims for prosperity.

Promotion has been sparse compared to Iron Man but I'm sure it will pick up soon and I don't think it would be surprising to see a Hulk trailer attached to the Iron Man movie that will also push things forward.

Yup, they're attaching the one shown at NYCC. Though sadly, not the Stark scene
