Yeah that JRJR art from ASM looks awesome. That oughta bring at least a few people back into the fold after OMD.

I love that Illyana sketch.
Please Marvel, don't be cruel and keep teasing me with this!

Still no, sadly. I wanted to read JR jr on Spidey again, especially if he could team up with Mark Waid, but it won't happen with the new Spidey status quo.

A prescription for spin: "Sir, your sequel mini-series is awful and the sales bear that out. What are your comments?"

man, that new She-Hulk artist is AMAZING, like animation stills but without the "stiffness" a lot of artists how do that style have. (good use of "camera" angles too.
and Shulkie gettin' it on with Herc, whoa boy!

So much for this, then. Nothing against Rousseau, but that's really disappointing.

That's such a damn lie. Ultimates 3 is late after 2 years of telling us about it. Astonishing X-Men, Thunderbolts, etc.
Brevoort has told us morons who read comics that fill-ins suck, and one-shots are fill-ins. Just get the books in the can before you solicit them, and get on the creators butts to get the job done.

So you go to a big con. You get in front of a panel of Marvel's head honchos and you can ask them ANYTHING you want. And you ask about the Great Lakes Avengers, Squirrel Girl, and Ben Reilly. This happens in every Mondo panel recap I ever read about. WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? They must be the same guys that will now run over to the DC Nation panel and ask about Gnort and Ambush Bug.....
Never been to a big Con. Is this a joke? Is this the comic equivalent of a Stern fan breaking in to a press conference and yelling Baba Booie?
All the stuff we debate, discuss, and speculate on here and this is what someone asks when they get the chance... Never ceases to amaze me... .

It does seem that no one ever looks up information before going to conventions, learning things already out there, are scared to ask real questions without being a dick for fear of "being mean," and other things that can add to information about a book or character.
But don't forget these are the fans who are so in love with comics they will go across the country to see the creators and hear about new things (to them, at least). They can do whatever they feel like, even asking stupid questions. I'd love to tell Quesada in person get his ____ together regarding scheduling and that OMD has made me lose all interest in Spidey, but I'm not going to pay money to fly out and say it at a convention. Maybe when I'm rolling in the proverbial phat cash, but not now.

NYX! Booya! Of course, it's lost it's thematic driving force in the post-Decimation world.

Any word on what Adrian Alphona will be doing instead?

Quesada then announced writer (and BOOM! E-i-C) Mark Waid joining the Amazing Spider-Man writing team.
|
Just like Joe Kelly, Waid is one of the writers who I think should have become Spider-Man writers years ago. I hope that both of them will stay for quite a while.

Ramos may be my least favorite artist in the Marvel stable. He ruined every issue of Adjectiveless X-Men that he pencilled in place of Bachalo.
Guess Runaways is off my pull list.

I'm looking forward to Ramos on Runaways. I never followed the book before, but now that there's an artist that I like on the book, i'll give it a try.

I know. We might not have that many people, but damn, we have a large state.

I wasn't at all pleased when I heard Ramos was going to be drawing Runaways, but I actually really dig those preview pages and I think he might just gel very well with Moore's rather animated scripts.
Now what is that pic of Nightcrawler and who-are-those-people from? No clue, but it looks badass.

I'd like to know who they are, myself, but I wish Initiative focused more on that, than the camp hammond trainees..
