Good names for those one-shot tie-ins.

Unlike the Countdown tie-ins, every Final Crisis mini-series (the Legion, the Flash and Spectre ones) sounds like some great stuff.

Now, some quick speculation: the one-shots for FC: Submit and FC: Resist revolves around the Anti-Life Equation. Darkseid being the villain for a majority of this, I would assume that he's finally figured out the Equation.

For people not familiar with the Fourth World and the Anti-Life Equation, it's basically the ultimate idea of slavery. Losing all identity, all control over yourself, and being completed dominated by whomever you are under control.

Morrison hit upon it in his JLA run during the Rock of Ages storyarc.

I will give the typical complaint about tie-ins, though heavily tempered by the (so far) low number and (surprisingly) high quality.

I don't hold much interest in the Revelations book but it is hard to compete against Johns on Flash and 3 Legions.

Deep down I want to hope for the Final Crisis to bring back Bart (tied to Rogues) Allen and Connor (tied to Legion and Prime) Kent, but I would only be truly happy if it meant Geoff Johns would be back writing them again like he always should have been on Teen Titans.

Sort of as an aside, I really dig the idea of an intentional break in the story to really help stretch the feeling of importance when "evil wins." But I think using one-shots to fill the space might mitigate that a bit. On the other hand, I felt the one shots worked really well in the Sinestro Corps War, so maybe they will do the same here.

Man, Didio always comes off as such a nice and humble guy. It's a great contrast to Quesada, who comes off as a man with an extremely large head.
