RUNNERS: THE BIG SNOW JOB #1
Archaia Studios Press has provided Newsarama with an 11-page preview of May’s Runners: The Big Snow Job #1 (of 6), the return of Sean Wang’s critically acclaimed sci-fi adventure. This time, in color.
The publisher describes the issues as:
Hard times have fallen on Roka Nostaco and the smuggling crew of the Khoruysa Brimia. Tired of scraping by on small-time runs for petty criminals, they take on a big job to get back into the top tier of mob-level work.
But high pay comes with high risk, and if the freezing climate of Planet Ciceron doesn’t kill them, the hostile native population might. Assuming they don’t all kill each other first! Success could put them back on track, but are they in the driver’s seat or just pawns in a much bigger double-cross?
Runners: The Big Snow Job is a completely new storyline and is a great jumping-on point for new readers. (For more on Serve Man Press’s Bad Goods, the first Runners story, check out www.seanwang.com)

Thanks for all the kind words, everyone! I'm ecstatic to be back on RUNNERS again and even more excited about the prospect of doing all subsequent story arcs on a much more regular schedule. Sleep is for chumps, anyway.
Just wanted to post a slight correction: THE BIG SNOW JOB is actually going to be 5 issues, not 6.

Hey HomerdaBorg, I just noticed your avatar image. I actually did a whole Simpsons/Star Trek piece a while back that you might enjoy:

Not to hijack the thread from RUNNERS, of course. But I guess it's all sci-fi, right?

I do so love good space opera comics! The first Runners series impressed the hell out of me. I'm very much looking forward to the new stuff. Best of luck, Mr. Sean.

Glad to see more Runners will be coming out. I have most of the singles from the previous run, but hope to snag the TPB at one of the conventions.

As of now I have plans for New York Comic-Con and Wizard Philly, since both are drive-able distances from me. I'm looking into other shows as well but haven't really settled on anything yet. San Diego is looking very iffy unfortunately, given the recent hike in plane ticket prices.

Sorry to hear that Sean. Hopefully us west coasters will be able to buy your comic online maybe? Thanks for the info!

Yep. RUNNERS: THE BIG SNOW JOB #1 is in the current (March) issue of Previews as mentioned above. And while you don't need to have read the first story to jump on with the new one, the graphic novel for the first story, RUNNERS: BAD GOODS, is also being listed in that same March issues of Previews and can be found under the publisher Serve Man Press.
