LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES: "IN YOUR DREAMS"

From WB Animation

Kids' WB! on The CW presents the final stand-alone episode of "Legion of Super Heroes" on Saturday, March 22 with a chapter entitled "In Your Dreams." The episode airs at 9:30 a.m. ET/PT.

The episode synopsis for "In Your Dreams": With the power to see the future in her dreams, Dream Girl warns the Legion of attacks by the criminal organization The Dark Circle aimed to take down the United Planets. However, Lightning Lad wonders if Dream Girl or her visions can be trusted. "In Your Dreams" is written by Stan Berkowitz (screenwriter of "Justice League: The New Frontier") and directed by Brandon Vietti.

The series will conclude with a two-part episode, which is scheduled to air on Kids' WB! on consecutive Saturdays -- March 29 and April 5.

One of the most tragic casualties of the 4Kids move. As close to the old-school Legion as we've seen in years. Two seasons is not close to enough.

Agreed. I'm happy that Dreamy and the Dark Circle are showing up before the end, though.

Truly a shame. At least we are getting a wrap up at the end of the season. So many stories yet to explore. An adaption of The Great Darkness Saga would have been great.

On the bright side, at least I get to see my favourite Legionnaire before the series ends.

Even my favorite, Matter Eater Lad, made an appearance! That's good enough for me!

Boy, you said it.
Really, really sad that 2 seasons is all we're going to get.

Mark Waid's Star Boy (I like this reboot of the character!)

Oh, I'm don't know the legion that well. I just thought they made that Tyroc guy I saw on wikipedia cooler.

I believe Tyroc actually was shown briefly in the first season.

I like most of the character designs -- moreso than the ones introduced in Waid's version. Duo Damsel's new design is very innovative and reminiscent of the days when Cockrum's designs were so innovative.

I do think the intro of clone Superman and the reduced role of the female Legionnaires was a misstep in season II, but I still enjoyed the show.

Hoping we get complete season DVDs eventually. The 2-part ending to the first season with the Suneater and Ferro Lad was excellent!

Also have my fingers crossed that DC will animate the Great Darkness Saga (using the character designs of that era) soon.

I was just getting to love this series. dead too soon. Just like JLU. Perhaps new frontier will usher in a new age of dcu animation. Perhaps a reboot of titans and not that god awful anime crap!!!!
