no thanks

That bullet said "goodbye" on its side, as in, "goodbye to everything that made the comic awesome." No thanks.

That trailer is about a million times better than the previous two. I'm much more excited about this movie now.

I don't know.

I still think it looks pretty bad.

Matrix with even less going for it.

This film looks even worse now that the WATCHMEN photos have been released. This film strays from the source material so much, I don't know why it's even being called WANTED...

I have very low expectations for this flick... But this trailer looks way cooler than I thought it would.

Movie finally looks like it's not going to be that awful.

Still, assassins instead of supervillains, no sign of the "we mind-wiped the world" reveal... This looks so incredibly bland. Might make for a decent summer popcorn flick, though.

Wink

In the credits, it should read: "Based on an idea by Mark Millar". It really doesn't look anything like the source material at all. It could have been called something else completely since it strays so far from the comic book. It kind of throws EVERYTHING out that made it so good.

Once again Hollywood is taking something really good and turning it into a pile of cr@p. I will totally be giving it a miss and stick to the graphic novel.

Looks like bunch of 'The Killer', seems his powers are the only ones present in all the superhuman characters, pretty cool, looks like a fun super-powered shoot-em-up flick. I'm in.

If I don't think of this as anything like the book Wanted, it looks damn good. That's the only way I could hope to really enjoy this movie....

We comic fans sure are a negative lot. I love how you can make decisions based on a trailer or some still photos months before a movie is released. Declaring something to be bad before you have seen it is ridiculous and a reason we are portrayed the way we are in mainstream media (i.e. Comic Book Guy). If the movie was called anything other than Wanted you'd all be drooling over it but because a great comic has been changed for the big screen your Underoos are all in a wad. With Watchmen you'd still all be complaining if the costumes were right because inevitably you would find something wrong with them, that's just the way some of you are. See this, see Watchman and reserve your judgment for then because jumping to conclusions makes us all look bad.

I agree. It still pisses me off that Fox is now white. Of course the ending can't be much worse than the comic so hopefully the movie will at least be a fun ride.

Nothing like the book? It's still about a loser being given his birthright to badassery and what he does with it. No capes? No problem.

My only concern was that "Kill one, save a thousand" line in the trailer. If this organization of assassins rather than super villains isn't evil, then they really have ditched the source material.

I loved the comic, but i think i'll pass on the movie.

When the scriptwriters have gone on record as only having read the first two issues of the mini before writing their script, you're f*cked from the get-go.

Their blatant disregard for Mark Millar's story is just insane. How exactly does supervillain translate to assassin? Your main character is modeled on Eminem? Go get the a$$hole (i don't like him personally, but thats the character damn it). Your female lead is supposed to be Halle Berry? Talk to her freakin agent (she'll appear in ANYTHING).

Maybe i'm just a purist, but this isn't what i wanted.

Agree man, this is not Wanted, is some movie with a lot of bullets. This kind of "adaptations" made me fear about The Boys. Peace.

The proverbial 'nail on the head'

I think if you go to see this expecting the Wanted graphic novel you will be sadly disappointed (which is too bad I think it would have rocked)

Go see it as a brainless action flick and you will probably enjoy it.

The biggest negative about it - is now that the license is sold to Universal means there won't be a 'real' Wanted movie for a long time (probably never)
