Why do I feel like these should have the Marvel Masterpieces, or whatever those painted cards series was called, foil logo in the corner??

Marvel needs to take a lesson from DC on how to make teaser images.

After that One More Day teaser image this is pretty much a guarantee that neither of them is a Skrull

Thumbs down

i usually read dc, but will probably check out at least the first issue....but is this the whole promotion? draw every marvel character w/a skrull look in the same pose and put "who do you trust?" to me, it seems a bit redundant...maybe that's just me.

So they got some Marvel groupies who happened to be Skrulls to dress up in Wolverine and Hawkeye costumes for Got Milk? photo shoot.

I refuse to believe that Wolverine's teeth are that straight or clean.

Generally, I've been hyped to read this mini regardless of what imagery has come out in advance. But if I wasn't into it already, these are some lame-ass teasers.

Seriously, you should NEVER feel like a nerd for having correct grammar. Comic readers are one of the last vestiges of a society where people actually read...and no, I'm not confusing New Avengers with Hamlet, but so few people read ANYTHING anymore. Hell, you don't even need a tv guide. We should get it right, if only for other readers. I mean, some kid has to be reading these books. It can't be all 30 year old men.. Not that it matters what anyone thinks of comic readers, but it's nice to put the best foot forward.. I learned latin and Nietzche quotes from Gerber/DeMatteis Defenders when I was 5. Comics can occasionally surprise you!

Oh, and New Avengers Wolverine a skrull. Maybe the obvious Spider-man lettering means that Joe Quesada is a skrull and we can wipe out any Satantic/Skull-tanic pacts and deals.

I have a feeling neither Hawkeye or Wolverine are Skrulls. They're just obvious teaser choices due to their suspicious resurrection and suspicious "be everywhere at once" tendency.

It would be a little funny (and a little sad), however, if BOTH are Skrulls and the teasers were basically spoiling it from the start.

Either way, maybe this means the return of Clint Barton as Hawkeye.

Then they all make deals with the devil so none of it ever happened.

I wouldn't know. My shop wasn't shipped enough for them to sell me the box I ordered.
