THE DARKNESS JOINS COMICS @ NEWSARAMA

Press Release
Top Cow Productions in association with Newsarama.com and HiddenRobot are pleased to bring fans The Darkness Volume 2 #1-6 by Paul Jenkins and Dale Keown in its entirety for free! The story arc entitled “Resurrection” will run daily on COMICS @ Newsarama at http://hiddenrobot.com/DDAILY/ . Bookmark that link and check it out every day!

Mafia Hitman Jackie Estacado was both blessed and cursed on his twenty-first birthday when he became the bearer of The Darkness, an elemental force that allows those who wield it access to an otherworldly dimension and the demons that dwell there. Forces for good in the world rise up to face Jackie and the evil his gift represents, but there is one small problem. In this story... they are the bad guys.

Co-created by Garth Ennis, Marc Silvestri, and David Wohl, The Darkness has been a mainstay of the Top Cow Universe for over 10 years. Paul Jenkins, in addition to his extensive work on Spider-Man and Civil War, is known for his defining second volume of the series as well as co-writing the Platinum selling video game. Artist Dale Keown also one of the seminal The Darkness artists is probably best known for his work on The Incredible Hulk and his creator owned property Pitt.

The Darkness currently has a new ongoing series by Phil Hester (Superman Confidential) and Michael Broussard (Unholy Union). The “Resurrection” storyline can be found in print in The Darkness Ultimate Collection trade paperback. Other trade paperbacks of The Darkness including The Darkness: Levels and The Art of The Darkness are also available. Additional information regarding The Darkness can be found at www.topcow.com/darkness and www.topcow.com

COOL.

Does anyone know whatever happened to Atomica and Starship Troopers? They just stopped updating those out of nowhere. Also, will we be getting more Grounded?

I don't know who was responsible for Atomic & Starship but Kabuki, Powers and Invincible are going strong. GROUNDED was a limited series, a self-contained story, so what yu see is everything that exists. Though Sable & Azaceta have hinted at a future GROUNDED universe project. Glad you're asking for more though, it's a great book!

With Darkness launched Mice Templar is next up!
