Proof is a lot of fun.
Alex and Riley have themselves a winner, in my humble opinion.

PROOF is great (although I thought #2 hit last week - it did in NYC)
It's like the X-Files.
If Mulder was a Bigfoot.

Thanks, guys!
Yes, our second issue did hit stores November 29th, but that doesn't mean you can't get it this week (or next), if you tell your retailer you want Proof.
(There's an eight-page preview of issue two over at ComicSpace: http://www.comicspace.com/alexgrecia...file_id=174637)
Issue three will be out the fourth week of December and issue five will be out the fourth week of January and issue six... Well, just remember that the fourth week of every month you get Proof.

I love this book. I love your enthusiasm for the book. And I love that you are going to keep it reliably coming out on time. You have earned a permanent fan (as long as your love continues to shine through AND you continue to ship on time, that is!).
Hope you don't mind me adding Proof to my sig.

There is bit of personal writing at the end of the issue that isn't shown here,
i really enjoyed it.
So there is a reason for you all to go buy the actual book, anyway.

I agree that the "back matter" is a huge part of the book.

Hey Alex,
Why don't you post that on Wowio.com so you can make 50 cents every time someone downloads it?
If you're going to give it away, might as well make money doing it!

Yeah two issues in and this has become my favorite behind jack of fables. Alex do you know where we can get pages from Riley?

Glad you dig the book!
Try emailing Riley directly at letterstoproof@gmail.com. I get first dibs on Proof pages, though.

I wasn't able to find #1 at any of my LCS, so thanks for posting it Newsarama. (The one store that ordered it sold out.) I did buy #2 though. It was a really enjoyable read, as was this. I'm still waiting for a bit of "wow" factor, but maybe I was thrown a bit by reading them out of order.
It's definitely solid and seems to be heading in some interesting directions. (To be honest, I'm more interested in what's going on with the fairies and the Dover Demon than the Chupacabra.) I'm also looking forward to seeing Proof and Ginger get to know each other.
I have to say for those questioning the book: This is NOT a Hellboy knock-off. If anything, I think Proof's story is a bit more of an interesting concept... But I'm really not inclined to even compare the two.
Really fun artwork too.
Looking forward to hunting down #3 (like a cryptid) if I have to.

I think you'll be surprised by the way the subplots involving the Chupacabra and the fairies end up dovetailing in issue five. It's, um... ah, you'll just have to see for yourself.

Even though I loved the concept, I passed on this originally since I'm buying too many books already and the art didn't do it for me(that was also my problem with Mice Templar). Now having read this online, I'm definitely picking up #1 + 2 the next time I'm at a comic shop. Not only did the art grow on me, the cryptoid "facts" were a lot of fun. I also like the look of Bigfoot. Except for Harry And The Hendersons, this is one of the only Bigfoots who I like the design of.
