ALL-STAR BATMAN & ROBIN #8 - NEAL ADAMS COVER

DC has provided Newsarama with a first look at the Neal Adams variant cover for this month’s All-Star Batman & Robin the Boy Wonder #8. The Adams cover replaces the previously solicited wraparound variant cover by Frank Miller.

The solicitation for the issue reads:

Written by Frank Miller; Art and Cover by Jim Lee and Scott Williams; Variant wraparound cover by Miller

Part 1 of Frank Miller's and Jim Lee's two-fisted thrill ride ends here, yet it's only just begun! The Dark Knight links a brutal psychopath to the Flying Grayson's murder, and the streets of Gotham run red with terror! Dick Grayson is reborn to wage war on crime! The newly banded Justice League fans out, trying to catch a bat!

Batman | 32pg. | Color | $2.99 US

On Sale November 28, 2007

That's the variant cover, as pointed out in the article. Or do you wish they'd kept the Miller cover as the regular?

That is Awesome

This just firms in my mind that Neal Adams is one of comic's greatest creators. After so many DECADES he still has it...the same cannot be said of many creators from the same period. I rank him up there with Kirby on style, storytelling capability. He is a living legend.

No...the article says this cover REPLACES the wrap-around cover, which was the previous variant cover. So there is no wrap-around cover, currently.

Funky.

I always like Neal Adams.
I'm glad he's still trying neat stuff and not just trying to sell $50 hardcover trades.

Wow, an artist from the readable days of batman comics.

DC can go ahead and fire Miller any time now, since his Batman is crap.
