good thing they snagged joe benitez, most of the top cow illustrators are with marvel. i'm a fan of weapon zero especially when batt is inking benitez.

i am incredibly excited about this story already, but boy, i'm glad Benitez is only on for one issue while Benes gets cranking on the rest. that art just doesn't do much for me...

I do too but if the art above is an indicator of what to expect, they could have done much worse. I'll take art with some style over art over bad art any day!

Is it just me, or does Dr. Light look like Dick from Big Brother 8? That would explain a LOT.

And that art looks awesome! The villains look really scary alone, and together even Batman needs to be scared.
And look, there were even narration boxes and they seem to work. What a different one narrator and a Bat-icon makes.

Ok, so you are a Super Villian
You've just captured 3 members of the Justice League, 2 of whom have Secret Identities that they hide behind a mask. Wouldn't your first move be to unmask said Super Heroes, and learn their secret IDs ?
But nope, apparently not with the Injustice League. Batman still seems to have his Cape and Cowl in place.

So, that niggling nit picky detail aside, So far I have only read the Wedding Special and now wht 4 preview pages, and I already like the Dwayne McDuffie League loads better than the Meltzer Era.

And the art ... eh, I prefer Benes, but then again I prefer McKone to Benes. This isn't bad art, it's just not really Good art either.

I would love a comic in which those five formed a Backstreet Boys/N' Sync style pop group. A boy band with a cheetah woman and giant talking psychic gorilla in it. I thin it has possibilities.

It can't be Dick from BIG BROTHER 8, because Dick would take out all of the supervillains like Grodd (Zack), Cheetah (Jen) and the Joker (Dustin) that think they're "good people." He could be related to Lobo, however.

Surely I'm not the only one who saw Armored Luthor and asked, "Who is the moron who let Liefeld draw the Injustice League?"

Batman looked good, though. And I like the Joker.
