They had her so well set up for taking her in a new direction that would still put her at odds with the bat-family at the end of her series too... Such a waste.

I mean, she can still be BatGIRL while Katty Kane is BatWOMAN. No one needs to replace another.

I started reading Teen Titans at the Titans East arc, just before Geoff Johns left the book, and it looks to me like there is a good chance of Cassandra getting off with a clean slate after they discovered all of Deathstroke's team had been drugged.

I'd really like a chance to see this character in an ongoing again, since I wasn't reading when she had one the first time.

IMO, Cass is one of the few characters in the Batverse as cool as Batman himself. Unlike Robin, Nightwing and Oracle, she didn't need Batman to have an awesome origin and her past actually acts as a better foil.

My main hope now is that someone outside the Bat-books redeems her. Nightwing was created in Teen Titans, not the Bat books, and it helped define Dick better than anything that's happened before or since while he was in the Bat books.

Love the character, but hate what they've done to her this past year. Hopefully they'll redeem her before too long, though I'm not all that confident anymore.

I'll say this.. I would love to see more of Freddie's Cass, since he finally got the hang of drawing her.

I like Cassandra, she'd been great in the role of Batgirl from her start until the "turn to the dark side" crap. At least it seems that she's coming back. The Bat Family needs a Batgirl, not another hero gone villain. She was and is a great example that a person can be more then what they've been raised to be. She's Bruce's (adopted) daughter for crying out loud! What's not to like! Definitely, Batgirl Cassandra is one of the best characters that DC has produced in the last deacade or so. At least in my eyes.

Hey Sinosleep, you must have liked Mai-Otome, you've "Nina Wong-ed" Cassandra.

I kind of like it, brings maybe a slight answer as to why Bruce is keeping his distance. Maybe.
