UPDATED: SORROW #1

We gave you a taste earlier, and now, Image Comics has provided us with sixteen pages of Sorrow #1, by Rick Remender, Seth Peck, and Francesco Francavilla.

NOW WITH PAGES IN THE CORRECT READING ORDER

The solicitation for the issue reads:

Sorrow #1 (of 4)

story: Rick Remender & Seth Peck
art: Francesco Francavilla
cover: Kieron Dwyer

32p
BW
August 1
2.99

"Not all that is buried is dead."

In 1952, the U.S. Government’s nuclear testing killed all of the good people of Sorrow, Nevada. Today, the sign in front of town reads “population zero”. The locals, however, will tell you a very different story... When a car accident strands four young travelers in this desolate ghost town, they soon find that not all that is buried is dead.

A modern take on the classic ghost story SORROW mingles the psychological terror of The Exorcist with the eerie dread of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks to inspire fear in the most hardened of horror fans.

Great Arts... But they aren't in correct order... make it confusing to read.

Love me some Rick Remender work. Going to have to check this out. Especially if it is reminiscent of Lynch's Twin Peaks.

Ditto. The story is off to a very nice start. It looks like Matt died and resurrected right there thanks to the town's unusual qualities.

Yeah, but considering the story is pretty straightforward, it's more annoying than confusing. Once you read the whole preview, you can rearrange the sequence in your mind. Or even during your read. That's what I did.

Wow...I hate to say that Ben Lichius got robbed...but I think this is even better than BLACK COAT, which I didn't think was possible.

Very cool, guys.
