DC's SECOND COUNTDOWN TEASER IMAGE

On Friday, we talked to DC Universe Executive Editor Dan DiDio and got a walk-through of the original teaser image the publisher released just before Countdown started, and secrets were finally revealed. At the end of the that discussion, DiDio revealed that there was a certain item - the Kirby-esque thing in the foreground, that would be something of a throughline for the original teaser into the new teaser image.

Is that the first Trickster in the second Trickster's cotume? Or did the second Trickster super-age like Bart too? Or did he hit puberty during the missing year? Seriously just curious; I haven't seen him since Rogue War. I thought maybe he died somewhere?

Two things that jumped out at me: Is that the original Trickster with the Pied Piper's flute? And is that the Book of Destiny as seen in B&B?

I'm confused as hell by all of these little nuggets in there. But why does it seems to suggest that maybe Darkseid takes a tumble here?

Martian Manhunter there with Joker and Catwoman...hmmmm. Dunno. I know that Ostrander did introduce a decades (if not centuries) old conflict between J'Onn and Apokolips, though.

J'Onn's holding a bloody knife...hoping he stabbed Darkseid.

Mulletron Superman has his back to us, suggesting he's not coming back this time, or has turned away from us.

There's a broken arrow in the foreground... doesn't look good for Conner Hawke.

J'onn J'onzz is standing very, VERY close to the Joker, and appears to have his hand on Catwoman's arse.

The Black Racer's skies are broken... has someone murdered Death?

KC Superman's hand is glowing... given his proximity to the Cyborg and Mulletron Superman, could this mean he's really the Eradicator?

Granny Goodness is praying and Trickster appears to be pleading for Lex Luthor... more religious imagery.

Sorry if these are a bit obvious and/or silly, it's a busy day for me and that's all I can contribute just now...

I was really disappointed with Didio's explanation of the hints in the last image. Barda and Miracle are on the ground with the dead people, so they might die, but they haven't yet, but almost everyone else won't die because they aren't touching the ground? Reminded me of a game I used to play when I was little when my friends would pretend the ground was lava and we had to walk on furniture. Oh and the Atom is coming back from the ground, so he is coming back from the dead. But he was never dead. And Mary Marvel is naturally shaded, so she will be corrupted by Eclipso. Should we then assume anyone with a shadow in the image is related to Eclipso?
Basically, while Didio's clues made half-sense when explained, it was impossible to tell what was deliberate and what wasn't. For instance, were Black Canary's arms crossed because she was cold? Does this mean she is going to Antarctica or wrestling Killer Frost? And what did that bulge at her crotch represent. I'm not even gonna try to decipher this one. If anything, these just spoil major reveals, like the return of Superman of Earth-2 and Martian Manhunter switching sides. Those could be really major reveals like those in last weeks' GL: Sincestro Corps, but instead, they are spoiled in this image that is so mired in hal-symobolism that an entire interview with the guy who dreamed it up still doesn't answer everything.
