Jonah Hex Appreciation Thread
There is not enough Jonah Hex love.
It is a consistently entertaining book. It's well written and beautifully illustrated.
You want action? You want pathos? You want anti heroes with ambigous morals?
You like westerns? You like crime noir?
You want tales of revenge and cruelty, you sick bastard you?
Buy this book.

Hex is always a great read and always on top of my pile no matter what else comes out that week. Palimotti and Gray really know how to write a great western. The only thing I wish Hex had was Luke Ross back his art perfectly fit Hex.

His stuff was great. I'd like to see him back, but I have been happy with the art in every single issue.

This is one of my two favorite books each month. I have yet to walk away from reading an issue without being impressed. An excellent read every single time. IMHO, its the most consistent book out on the market.

Jonah Hex is gold. I'm currently in the middle of the Showcase Presents anthology, which may be the best $23 I've ever spent. These reprints are at least as good (at times even better) than the new series.
Jonah Hex is for everyone.

While on Jonah Hex can anyone remember what issue # is it where some guy tries to talk to him and he just punches the guy to the ground. It was such an odd thing, I laughed my ass off at it.

If your talking about the new series I'm guessing that might be issue #4 where he is taking the guy named Chako toget hung or the latest issue(#20)where he punches him down again.

I picked up the first TPB on a whim while using up the last of the Comic Book Club budget and put it on my pull list in time for #20. Firefly really gave me a taste for badass westerns. I'd love to see Hex pull a Supergirl and end up timelost in the future while still appearing in his own book in his own time.
