Let's hope that's a dead Bart.

uh oh, looks like bad news for Bart.... though that cover is a nice homage to Infantino.

You realize saying you wish death on Bart Allen automatically summons poster VinnyPic to a thread (kind of like looking in the mirror and saying "Candyman" 5 times).

This would be awesome. It would be nice to be able to read the Flash again.

I don't want to see Bart die. But if they could find a way to make him revert back to Impulse and bring back Barry and/or Wally, then I would be all for that.

It's a nice cover and a good promotional image, but I can't see why there'd be need to speculate. Many covers and promos have nothing to do with the interiors of comics.

I have been wondering lately if all the Barry Allen talk indicates a Geoff Johns' GL-style reboot for Flash. I doubt it, but with the movie by Shawn Levy in the works it wouldn't surprise me at all if that were the case.

Merely speculating, btw. Nobody freak out about it, please.

Rather have a de-aged Bart and a live Wally, but you can't always get what you want.

DiDio always said, 'don't fall in love with the first Flash you see.'

Barry switches places with Bart to save his life?

I'm not even sure this is enough to get me to read Flash again. Ever since Geoff Johns left its been such a bad book.

Why do we always have to kill the hero for an interesting story?

How about a story about Bart dealing with the fact that he wasn't ready to take up the mantle and tortured with trying to find out why he wasn't.

Wouldn't that be cool if this was actually the wrap up to Wally's character that everyone has been waiting for?

So you're saying the Flash will be more readable when he's dead? That's harsh. I mean, who's gonna star in the book? Red Hood?

Where does it say he's dead?

It's just another cover to get people to buy the book. I'd really be surprised if anything substantial actually happens.

Guggenheim's actually been doing an incredible job on the book.
