Damnit, that All New Atom solicitation sounds really good. I think I might have to start buying that book again.
And Krypto is coming back!!!!! Does that mean that Busiek's Krypto tale isn't far behind?

That's some funny stuff how Shane Davis could be bothered to draw cleavage onto Zatanna, but couldn't be bothered to draw the buttons on her tuxedo shirt.

I might have to buy the Atom for the Countdown tie in.

Aw, that Four Horsemen book is only a One-Shot. I wanted it to be a mini-series. Can't wait for Booster Gold #1, and Countdown to Adventure.

Metal Men looks cool, but is it just me or does the rest of the cover art for the comics shown look, I dunno... budget? It all looks really crappy to me for some reason. Aside from JG Jones, does DC have any really good cover artists in its stable at the moment? It seems like most of the best exclusive artists (Quitely, Lee, the Kuberts) produce stuff so sporadically that the company is left with a bunch of scrubs to fill in most of the time.

So- what exactly am i supposed to infer from the Booster Gold cover? Are all these heroes/villains going to be in the book? The Black Adam cover is just EWWWWW! and it looks like I'm going to have to put my plans to drop the Atom on hold, until the search for ray palmer is over.

What about Daniel Acuna? Or Adam Hughes?

I think someone made a mistake for 52 Vol. 3. Vol. 2 carries 14-26, so Vol. 3 is suppose to carry 27-39 and not 14-26 again.

Man, I'm so in on Countdown to Adventure. Metal Men also looks like it could be a winner, but I might wait on that.

"Budget" is a good word for it - and is probably apt. DC is using too many average-at-best artists on high-profile projects. Brad Walker's drawing style is a bit "quirky" or "idiosyncratic"... or maybe just amateurish. Jesus Merino's recent/forthcoming Superman cover proved that he should stick with inking. And it was hard to fathom why they put an Al Barrionuevo cover on an issue drawn at least in part by Carlos Pacheco.

I don't know why
But the cover to Metal Men came me a *HUGE* grin on my face. I'm never been really big on the Metal Men and thought they were a waste. But this...I don't know why but this I have to pick up.
And Bob the Monitor??? How awesome is that??
I have to admit, DC's output in general looks kick-ass these days. Good time to be a fan.

Had no idea METAL MEN was coming back so soon. The cover looks fabulous! I'll have to trade in some comics and get a copy of the Archive...

Well, I don't really care that much. Besides checking out Countdown and the space adventures, I'm not exactly in a jumping for joy mood by these current preview solicits.

Booster I'm therefore.
I'll have to chose between Black Adam and Metal Man.
I'll see which gets the better reviews.

Rouleau's Metal Men drawing style evokes the few issues Walt Simonson did way back when.
Is it too much to hope that this will prove so wildly popular (or unpopular) that DC puts out the Dorkin/Allred Metal Men series? That would be great news.

52 novel?
While looking at the solit. for the 52 covers TPB I noticed it made reference to a 52 novel? Any idea what that is about?
That trade better have a ton of extra material in it because $19.99 for 57 covers is a bit much.

Neat on the villain backups--maybe thats' where we'll see Bolland's long-maligned Joker origin.
52 The Covers. Also cool

The 52 novel is going to be about 52.
Warner Bros. publishing is putting out a novel based on 52. It is the same story but in prose form.

I am actually thinking of getting two of that 52 Covers book. One just to have and one to tear up and decorate my office with some of those pages.
Whatever else I said about 52, many of those covers were faboo!
