I'm very very interested in BSG Season 0. If only because if BSG: Zarek proved anything, it's prequaling BSG is far better then doing "stories between the cracks". Because the main New Galactica series, really is quite poor.

My only worry is that they'll try to bring the Cylons into being involved in the plot, which I personally don't think is a very good idea. As it kind of flies in the face of everything established in the show (the events of the Season 3 episode HERO should be the exception to the rule, not the rule itself)

Have no fear - the Cylons do have a presence in the story, but it's pretty self-contained and doesn't really fly in the face of established continuity. I totally agree with your assessment of "Hero" and its role as exception vs. rule, but you have to concede that the developments in that episode did sort of open the door for the Cylon-Human relationship before the holocaust. It also allowed for some plausible denial for the characters who were involved and for the Colonial military in general.

The toasters are around, and there will be some degree of contact, but they're hardly the thrust of the bigger story. Scout's honor.

Oh, and Ronald Moore's office double-and-triple checks EVERYTHING. We get notes. They wouldn't allow us to go too hog-wild with their continuity, and we wouldn't want to. It's all handled with tender loving care, I assure you.

Also, for anyone who's interested, I'll be signing on Free Comic Book Day with Greg Rucka, Jennifer Van Meter and Matthew Clark" at Olympic Cards and Comics:

Love the Lone Ranger series and, as a long-time fan of the character, I am really looking forward to this story based around the Lone Ranger Creed. I can't wait to pick this one up!

Thumbs down Lone Ranger - FCBD

Wow! I wonder what is really in the free Lone Ranger comic book? Maybe more human flesh feeding vultures dining on the Texas Rangers? Or maybe the writers will have Tonto scalping someone this time. Ooooh, I can hardly wait. I mean this is the "new" Lone Ranger that everyone has apparently fallen in love with these days so what do we expect from the mighty pens & brushes of Dynamite. Supposedly this comic will have something about the Lone Ranger Creed in it. What a shame that Dynamite didn't read it before they came out with this disgusting little rag of a series in the first place. I wonder other means of grossness we will be subjected to in this free comic. Perhaps a human skin rug to flop down in front of the campfire. It's pretty sad that Dynamite refuses to let anyone speak out against the Lone Ranger comic book series on their forums, as they ban anyone from posting, who speaks negatively about the comic book. The posters seem to be working overtime on their posts, trying to score freebies from Dynamite. That doesn't speak well of their products, when they have to bribe people to post positively about their products.
