Good for him. I find most DCU titles to be pretty boring and plain, but, it seems like he's been directly involved with the ones I actually enjoyed.

Good job of DC keeping one of the main architects of its resurgence in the fold. Didio has been instrumental in getting DC back on track and with him going higher, we're assured of more good stuff.

Re: DAN DIDIO PROMOTED TO VP - EXECUTIVE EDITOR, DC UNIVERSE
And what's the difference between Veep - Editorial and Veep - Executive Editor?
The first person to reply $10,000/year gets smacked. ;-)

I guess DC ponied up the bucks before Marvel (who has been courting him openly) made him an offer he couldn't refuse.

DiDio seems to be the one DC editor who isn't asleep at the wheel so I'm sure this is well deserved. He's the only guy who understands why Marvel is kicking DC's ass and he's trying to do something about it.

Didio has done wonders for DC and has a great vision and care for the characters. An all around nice guy. I couldn't think of anyone more deserving of a bump on the ladder.

They still need to fix the big three.
He needs to do something besides adding 12 issues of Jim Lee art to the Superman & Batman franchises. The majority of the Bat-books are unreadable and the less said about Azzarello's Superman the better. Even Austen is writing circles around him. Maybe get Gail Simone onto Wonder Woman. I seem to recall that was a super-hero comic at one point in time.

I agree, good stuff all around, hopefully it'll keep getting better and better. And hey, what's wrong with Wonder Woman? She is in a superhero comic, and a wonderful read at that. Why isn't it a superhero book with the way Rucka is writing it? Did Didio have anything to do with Rucka getting that book? Jamie

Dan Didio made the decisions that affect the big three back in 2002. Including Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee on Batman, Azzazzzzszzzzzz...sorry, fell asleep there...Azz and Lee on Superman, Grant Morrison on Wonder Woman...oh god, sorry I mean Greg Rucka on Wonder Woman and Grant Morrison on other things....
He's the top dog at D.C. now, President Carlin is just a figurehead. Dan Didio runs D.C., rejoice comic fans!!!
