In a
USA Today story overlooked by many (well, Newsarama missed it), Christopher Reeve’s widow Dana spoke at length of her life without Reeve, who died in October. In addition to speaking on behalf of the Christopher Reeve Foundation, Mrs. Reeve is promoting a children’s book,
Dewey Doo-it Helps Owlie Fly Again, about a bird with injured wings. Initially, the book was to end with Owlie being cured, and returning to the skies, however, after Reeve’s death, Dana had the writers of the book change the story. Now, at the end of the story, Owlie learns to fly again, but in a new way.
At all of her appearances to promote the book, as the
USA Today picture shows, Reeve will be wearing the Christopher Reeve Foundation Superman Tag, which are being sold to benefit the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation. The tag features the Superman logo (which sources have told Newsarama DC Comics licensed to the CRPF for no charge), with the Foundation’s motto, “Go Forward.”
The tags are available for sale through the CRPF
website. As the site states:

Christopher Reeve redefined courage and hope. His strength, determination, and compassion inspired the world. He was our hero. Today, the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation proudly introduces the CRPF Superman Tag. This special offer is your opportunity to pay personal tribute to Christopher Reeve's incredible legacy. By wearing the CRPF Superman Tag, you believe that Christopher's vision will Go Forward.
The Christopher Reeve Foundation Superman Tags can be worn around the neck on a chain, or clipped onto gear, sports equipment, purses, or book bags.
