WONDER WOMAN #1 ADAM KUBERT VARIANT COVER

DC has released the cover image from June’s Wonder Woman #1 Variant Edition by artist Adam Kubert. The standard cover is by series artists Terry and Rachel Dodson.

Retailers take note, DC also reports that the retailer order form of the variant edition in the April Previews incorrectly credited the cover artist.

Yeah, it's going to be written by Allan Heinberg, who writes "Young Avengers" right now. Very psyched for this, although with Heinberg's schedule, it's more than likely that this will become a bimonthly title.

Hmm... not really impressed, but I'm not a huge fan of the Kubert brothers anyway. As expected, Wonder Woman's boobs are a focal point.

Based on everything we've seen, I'm guessing there's not a heck of a lot different between the "new" Wonder Woman and the "old" Wonder Woman, with the possible exception of Earth 2 Wonder Woman back in history and Diana being an original member of the JLA.

Normally, I love Adam Kubert but his Wonder Woman looks like she and Terry Hatcher decided to go to a restaurant and drink water together.

lookit that quirky cover

THATS EXACTLY WHY THAT KUBERT SHOULD BE ON MORRISON'S BOOK
lol

i know adam likes superman more and andy likes batman better
but its ridiculous how well suited andy is for a superman title
and adam is for a morrison helmed one

Pretty sure Heinberg is only committed to the fist 4 or 5 issues ... and that DC is glossing over that fact ...

I had always thought that Wonder Woman was a lame character, but DC has really won me over... I can't wait for this to come out!

the layout of the image reminds me of some of the JLA/JSA collectible plates that alex ross does for the WB shops...

Not the most exciting cover. Seems a little retro. I hope Heinberg's writing will be stronger than this.

If this is true, that is about enough time to start nothing.
