GHOST RIDER REVEALED
So – can they make you believe that a man with a flaming skull can look real?
Well…kinda?
Sony has released official promo footage from ( now) next February’s Ghost Rider film starring Nic Cage, and directed by Mark Stephen Johnson. Don’t settle in – the clip is ten seconds long, and features a shot of Cage as Johnny Blaze, selected close ups of the transformation, and then, the reveal of the burning skull dude.

I think it will be at least as good as Fantastic Four, and Cage has started making good movies again - got out of that Kevin Castner tailspin that Windtalkers put him in.
I have little interest in the character, but I will reserve judgement until I see it.

I've never been a fan of Ghost Rider at all, but that clip looks pretty darn good. I was afraid the Ghost Rider effects in this movie might suck, but after seeing that, I'm really impressed.

Looks good. I was skeptical about how they were going to show Flame head in motion. But it looks like they got it down. I wonder how his Penance stare will look like.

You might be looking for aintitcool.com. This is newsarama.com.
No coolness is implied or promised. Doesn't mean there isn't any, but....

I know what you mean. The clip was so short and we didn't get to see him in action. That being said if it's one thing I hope they do...is if he breathes fire they do it like how Crain does it in the GR mini, when the fire on his head goes out as he's breathing fire. That has got to be the coolest artistic touch I've seen for most any comic this year. That and when in the first story for the Marvel Holiday Special the Mole Man picture ages as the moloids are waiting.

I was disappointed the movie got pushed till February... but now I've seen small parts of it, and the flame head sure does look awesome!

so when the powers of darkness transform him, outside of his head, the best this dark magic can muster is some Hot Topic spikes on his shoulders?
i wish they had spent less time on that Spawn-toy of a bike he's on and spent a little more time making GR less sterile and maybe even into a cool movie monster.
i'm not gonna front, though. i'll be there to see it, against my better judgement.

Yeah how foolish are they to give any focus to half the interest of the character , the "rider" part of his name , the bike !!

A normal bike with the wheels on fire/made of fire would have been more than enough.

Surprisingly, that looks really very cool.
It's just a shame that we'll have to bear Nicholas Cage for the whole movie
