Gay comic creators?
I was reading in the new Wizard that a few creators are gay (in the Queer Eye for Superheroes piece). Which other creators are gay, out of curiosity?

I haven't read that piece so I don't know who it mentioned, but I thought Clive Barker was.
If self love is gay, you won't find any gayer than John Byrne!!!! HAH!! Cause he loves himself so much...see, he's a man and he loves himself more than anyone and...well, it's like...self love might be considered gay (not that there's anything wrong with that) if taken out of context in a humorous form...no, I don't really think John Byrne is gay, it's a joke....
Sorry. Never mind. Please proceed to the next post.
(Note to self. Your not funny. )

Re: Gay Creators
There was a panel of gay creators over on Sequential Tart a while back. This isn't a complete list, but among those there were Eric Shanower, Jose Villarubia, and Ariel Schwang.
In the mainstream press, Devin Grayson and Bob Schreck are both bisexual, and Darkhold, a book from Marvel from the early '90's, was written by Chris Cooper (not the actor), who was gay. And the editor of the Midnight Sons books at the time (Ghost Rider, Nightstalkers, Morbius, etc.) Better editor than writer, IMHO.
I think its worth noting that all these named here are among the most talented and critically-acclaimed creators in comics today. Proof we're all coming along nicely, I think.

I'm pretty sure that Phil Jiminez is gay.
I believe the late DC editor Neal Pozner was gay as well.

I knew I forgot somebody. Yep, Phil Jiminez is gay.
I can't say anything about Neal Pozner, as I only came across mention of him after his death in 1994. It was AIDS-related, but that doesn't really speak to anything anymore.

True enough. I know he had AIDS, but I didn't meant to imply that was the only reason I think he was gay. I'm pretty sure I've read articles about him that mentioned his homosexuality. I can't be 100%, but I am fairly certain.

There's actually a website dedicated to this that can be found here. Neal Pozner is indeed on the list.

Is it wrong that the fact that Devin Grayson is bi-sexual just makes her that much hotter to me?

No it makes you a hetero male. Simple math. 1 girl is good.
1 girl + 1 girl = better.

I don't think so, but Mark Millar was wearing a bra in his Wizard promo pic.

Pretty simple equation to me, and I suck at math.

I don't think he's anything. I remember reading an interview about his Beast-is-gay-no-he's-not subplot being a statement that some people just don't fit into a category like that, and I got the impression (he may have outright said it and i just can't remember), that he was referring to himself as being like that.

I remember somewhere that Neil Pozner was out as being gay.
Andy Mangels (Dark Horse comics writer) is gay.

Put that biscuit down Zemo!
For those who read the piece in Wizard, that redesign of Galactus was the funniest thing I've seen in a while. If anybody can scan the image so people who don't have the mag can see that would be pretty cool.

Scientifically speaking, on a scale of ten ... I think being bisexual ends up adding at least 5 points to the female in question.

Funny I thought his name sounded Hispanic to me. :P

And remember, when two lesbians have sex, the man is irrelevant and unnecessary, despite what porn videos tell you.

Perhaps he was, but his long-term partner is a woman... of course that doesn't stop him being bisexual (or "unlabelled"), but I suppose it does prove that he isn't out and out gay.

I can't scan the image but I can describe it. The character is transformed into one of the Village People, the one with the porn-star handlebar moustache and the black leather jacket with a bare chest. Highly amusing and worth a look!

No one's mentioned him even though he's in the article. Robert Rodi, writer of Elektra and formerly The Crossovers, is gay.

No. They were a couple, but have since split up.
