Full Giant-Size Hulk Cover, Interior Page of Hulk #95

Hey Newsarama junkies,

Upon returning home from my incredible vacation in Orlando (yes, I rode the Hulk coaster) I find these wonderful things in my mailbox, which I could not wait to share with all the other Hulk and comic fans online. It's the full cover of Giant-Size Hulk #1 and a sweet interior page of the Hulk/Surfer fight in Hulk #95. Here you go guys, enjoy:

Damn!

Anyone else think Palaguylan's pencils look sooooo much better without inks?
They're so detailed and the ink makes it lose so much of its depth

So damn pretty.

Palaguylan needs a way better inker and colorist! ____ that guy his awesome and is being brought now my the rest of the art team.

Also the Suffer appears to be using his board as a shield. That's pretty funny, yet really cool as well.

Also Sook needs to do a Black Widow mini! Imagine him and Brubaker on Black Widow. Make it happen Marvel!

A dangerous opinion around here. Needless to say, I agree, though Hulk seems to be taking it on the chin in the page we saw.

A cool look into the future of the series.

Its like two different artists. I think they should go to a Pencil to Color style with this book.

I hate the Surfer but why would he need weapons to beat down the Hulk? The Surfer has the Power Cosmic at his disposal. Personally, I hope Hulk smashes that bowling throphy lookalike.

The same reason Genis was bucking a laser pistol in the last run of Captain Marvel, because he can!

He's been training with Captain America.

My question is, how the hell did they capture the Silver Surfer and did he go to this planet to hide from the Annihilation Wave?

Damn those pencils are sweet. I agree the pencils lose a little in the inking/colouring, but Palaguylan's still impressed so far with the two issues out.

Carlo Pagulayan! Wow! Being Filipino myself, would love to get a sketch from him, but he's stuck in the Philippines it seems...hehe. Anyway, I Googled him and found his website. Here it is in case anyone has never visited it before: http://www.carlopagulayan.com/

I read somewhere that Silver Surfer's appearance in Planet Hulk occurs before his Annihilation mini, so the two events do not directly tie in. Try as I might, I can't find the article I read that in, though. If anyone knows, feel free to chime in.

um... his name is Carlo PAGULAYAN and yes he is a really great penciller. Jeff Huet's inks are actually good as well (when you see them in person); this is regardless for my preference for original pencils over inked stuff. it is probably the digital paint or printing process that lose the definition.

can't wait to see the actual page.

read in wizard when somebody gets sucked through to the big ole vortex, they get significantly depowered for a time. This is why the weapons were able to hurt Hulk when he first landed.

Me likey Planet Hulk. Self-contained but epic. Gotta love it. Also, the reprint of "The End" is gravy. Good gravy.
