LIONS, TIGERS & BEARS #3

Runemaster Studios has provided Newsarama with a ten-page preview of this month’s Lions, Tigers and Bears #3 by Mike Bullock with art by Jack Lawrence

The solicitation for the issue reads:

“Fears & Pride Part 3”

Stranded in the Stuffed Animal Kingdom, where his new toys have come to life, Joey just wants to get home again. But first he must help the Night Pride stop the newest plot of the evil Beasties, who delight in dragging children from their beds and spiriting them away. Soon Joey and his new friends find themselves entering the Haunted Forest in hot pursuit of the Beasties ... but little do they know they're being drawn into a nightmare from which they may never escape!

This book is a complete and utter delight to read and look at. Far too much in the comics world has been about "gritty realism" and it is nice to see something that can be easily read by kids and adults both. Mike Bullock, you seriously need to go to Hollywood with this and start talking movie rights.

Thumbs up

I am still waiting for my second issue! So far I really enjoyed Lions, Tigers & Bears. One of the best all ages comic that's out now!

Any chance for real stuffed animals? I mean I would love to have Pallo, Minerva, Venus and Ares as real toys!

Wait'll you see the end of Issue 3, Defunkt! There's so much potential plush villainy there, it's fabulous! Come on, your future plush Night Pride needs something to protect you against!

I wouldn't mind a plush Mumbler, actually. The design is just plain wicked

I must say that this preview in and of itself was so refreshing. Like a cool breeze. I loved this preview. You just convinced me to go and search out the back copies. The art on this book is just incredible! Kudos to the artist. And the concept is very very cool. I hope it does become a movie. Hopefully, animated. But if not animated that's okay too.

But you just got yourself another fan.

Excellent! I love it when a plan comes together!

For those requesting stuffed animal merchandise, rest assured we're working on it.

We are currently running down on stock for our first ever LTB t-shirt. Check 'em out:

Hopefully, once these are sold out, we can take that money and invest in stuffed animals, if we haven't worked something out before then.

I have read issue #3 and LOVED it. Of course, its a hell of a cliffhanger though! So for that, I dispise Mike.
But seriously folks, buy this book. Very awesome, fun read!

i love this comic! Hey Mike, have you thought about expanding the Night Pride in the future by including either a cheetah or leopard? I think having one of those spotted big cats would complete the group. Anyway good luck with this comic in the future.
