Transformers/G.I. Joe # 6
Written by John Ney Rieber
Art by Jae Lee

This week, get ready for the last chapter in this epic miniseries Transformers/G.I. Joe by Dreamwave! In this final concluding issue, COBRA COMMANDER will die before he surrenders his empire, and the JOES and the AUTOBOTS will die with him--unless SNAKE-EYES can survive the lethal Deathground, and defeat the faceless monster who waits within--DESTRO.

And outside, the battle between the greatest heroes and villains of two planets escalates to apocalyptic fury when MEGATRON seizes the Matrix. Nothing can match his power, then--Nothing but the courage of OPTIMUS PRIME.

Characters who defined the concepts of 'hero' and 'villain' for generations redefine them with grit, heart, and adrenaline in this epic 6-issue miniseries.

Sweet.

Jetfire looks stunning. Is his toy-inspired look another form of armour, much like Brawn's facemask in issue 1?

Looking forward to the return of one of my favourite TFs.

ps. Bumblebee's flyer is sooooooooooooo cute

How odd, I just asked my dealer today if TF/GIJoe #6 had come in and I missed it.

Regarding the Devil May Cry book, let me just say WOW. The colors are so awesome, they make the pencils pale in comparison. I hope I can hire a colorist that good to color my book someday.

Don't worry, you haven't missed it. It comes out this Wednesday, the 23rd. And it's about time too.

I'm not even sure yet if I like this or the other Transformers/Gi Joe crossover. I feel compeled to buy them just to support the 80's nostalgia movement. It's funny that Marvel is doing it's own 90's nostalgia thing at the moment. What good thing do we have going now that will be re-hashed in a decade? Probably all Indie books, that's all I hear about anymore.

Looks great... The colors on Transformers/G.I. Joe looks more vibrant than in past issues... or is it just the web version?

Jetfire's facemask is shown in War Within. Brad Mick (who isn't 'cos he JM - the editor) is following on from things set up in WW.

Whereabouts in WW? I must have been sleeping when I read that issue. (It wasn't until my third read through I noticed Brawn's mask as well.)
