Not too bad all things considered.

Is there any hint as to when we might see another issue of Fell?

I'm going to bet that we won't see Ultimates #13 (the conclusion of Millar and Hitch's run) until September at the earliest.

Yup, sadly All Star Supes #4 starts this books run to always being insanely late (be happy from this point on to have just a two month wait between issues) and I expect that the June 14th date will get moved as well. Really when was the last time Quitely has done more then four issues in a row? The answer: Authority, he never even did four issues in a row on New X-Men.

I love both of these artists but they can't even do a book on a bi-monthly basis. I'd rather wait for them to do a great job then see fill in artists (like on New X-Men), but I just think about how much more popular they'd be (and how many books they'd sell) if they could produce work on a more timely schedule. Right now with the unpredictable manner in which new issues of these books come out, these titles as periodicals lose their momentum, people think they've missed an issue because it's been so long since the last issue, and because of irregular shipping titles like these more and more people just say they'll wait for the trade (which end up selling well, but some of the people who said they'd get the trade don't because the title at that point has lost it's immediacy for them).

They were also the only four issues of the book, or any book, Quitely had released that year.

Fell 7 and 8 were cancelled this week, so it looks like 6 will be the last one.

In all fairness All-Star Superman getting pushed back is nothing compared to the god awful delays All Star Batman has suffered. I mean cmon its been almost a year since #1 came out and #4 is just barely ready to ship. Give em some credit.

Nothing surprising, other than the Storm being delayed a month

So we lose Manhunter but keep all these consistently late titles that are crap, not to mention second and third printings on more crap?

What the %#@&?

yeah man, printing more of the books that sell well and cancelling the low-selling books, what kind of crazy business model is that

It was originally supposed to ship on April 12th, so actually they just pushed it from being 6 weeks late to 7 weeks late. I think we are all used to Ultimates shipping late at this point and most of us can live with that for the quality of the book - but it ain't a one week delay.
