INFINITE CRISIS #7 INCREASES PAGE COUNT

Press Release

On May 3, DC Comics will unleash the incredible finale of the year ' s biggest event in INFINITE CRISIS #7 (FEB060254). Now, DC announces that this red-hot issue will include six extra story pages at no extra cost!

" The thing that ' s so fantastic about INFINITE CRISIS is its scope, " says penciller Phil Jimenez. " Geoff and all the artists really worked to give readers a story and art that covered all the corners of the DCU. With the expanded page count, we were able to flesh out scenes and fill in some really wonderful character moments, making for an even deeper, more fulfilling read! "

Written by Geoff Johns and illustrated by Jimenez, George Pérez and Andy Lanning, with covers by Jim Lee & Sandra Hope and George Pérez, INFINITE CRISIS #7 (FEB060254) is scheduled to arrive in stores on May 3 with a cover price of $3.99 U.S.

And be sure you have these other INFINITE CRISIS issues in stock on May 3 when issue #7 reaches stores.

I'll take supercompression over decompression anyday.

Crisis has been so packed full of stuff that it's downright crazy.

They're actually risking releasing it on the same day as Civil War #1?

Kudos for bravery!

Hey, didn't IC #1 come out on the same day as HoM finished?

It's a merry-go-round

I'd rather have DC 80s circle jerking, than MARVELS 90s circle jerking

Enh; Civil War is a contrived event born as a response to Infinite Crisis. There's no competition there.

Actually it came out the same day as HoM #6, that it was much more risky since that issue was the important one for HoM.

But . . . but . . . if they're giving a legitimate excuse for the delays, and they're upping the page count at no extra cost . . . then what am I supposed to complain about?!?

I'm sure both IC7 and CW1 will sell like mad and the retailers will have a well-deserved payday!

I was thinking the same thing. Can we get some clarification on the new date. It seems odd that they'd add content and get it to the stands EARLIER than expected.

How is that brave? It's just a smart business decision. NO ONE who bought issues 1-6 is going to skip 7. Therefore, if anything will lose out on sales, it'll be Civil War.

Cool news indeed! I cannot wait for the conclusion to this excellent series
BUT.... they'd better not try and release some sorta "IC: Aftermath Special".... I think we've been burned enough.

I only hope the art in IC #7 is consistent. The fill-in pages by so many different artists (who are all good btw) had really hurt this book for me.

I'm down.
I totally thought this last issue should have more pages, and they're doing so at no extra cost.

I try to stay out of the Marvel vs. DC fan squabbles because I enjoy both companies though I like Marvel a lot more. While Civil War is perhaps an attempt for Marvel to compete with DC's Infinite Crisis sales, Civil War has been planned very well so far and I am looking forward to it. And you can't compare the two events yet since Infinite Crisis is not over and Civil War has not even begun.
