Hi there! This is Steve's wife, Jaynelle. For those of you who heard the rumor about Steve and Mike having a falling out, well, they did have a disagreement over the storyline, and Nexus was scrubbed from the lineup. After Steve saw the wonderful intro that Baron did for Steve's upcoming "Art Of" book, he talked Baron into giving the story one more shot and the rest is history. YAKKIN WITH THE DUDE: NEXUS RETURNS

Welcome all ye faithful to a most astounding announcement of the first magnitude. Ironically, a message that was announced months ago, and sadly, had to be retracted due to internal conflicts between Baron and I. Conflicts, that have now been dutifully and thankfully put to rest, so that we may finally proceed with our intended destiny. Now, with proper scripts finally in hand, we can indeed announce--the Return of Nexus.

Just as before, Nexus will be taking it's rightful place as the flagship title of Rude Dude Productions, in conjunction with The Moth and the Rude Dude Anthology title. It will be released monthly as a 4-issue series with a release date scheduled for July 2007. Nexus will then be placed in permanent rotation with the Moth, the Anthology, and various Trade Paperback releases.

The permanent crew on the Nexus series are; Mike Baron/ writer, Steve Rude/penciller, Gary Martin/inker, and Glenn Whitmore/ colorist. A major P.R. Push is in is the works as we hope to avoid all the pitfalls of our previous publishers on Nexus.

For those who have waited all these years in hopes of Nexus returning, know that I am well underway on the actual pencilling, and all 4 scripts by Mike Baron are already in hand. We know your hopes are high for Nexus' return, both Baron and I fully knowing of the high standards needed to uphold from our previous 98 issues.

Look for Nexus issues #99, the landmark and long-awaited Nexus #100, #101, and #102 coming in July 2007. Until then, may we all take a brief moment of silence to wish a safe delivery for the long overdue and much-stressful pregnancy of Ms. Sundra Peale and for the healthy delivery of a baby boy/girl/whatever??? The answers to all the upcoming mysteries are at last to be unveiled!
