Who read it for the first time here online? What did you think? Are you going to buy the trades?
M!
Thanks to Tim for doing such an amazing job!

I read it for the first time in its webcomic form. Actually, I jumped off the Daily train around page 80, not because I didn't like it, but because I decided to read the rest in either hardcovers or trades.
I also would like to recognize the mysterious tdaniel, who stalks around the Powers subforum like some kind of...stalking...guy....

I already have every trade, but this was a great idea to bring in new readers.

i was already a giant fan of bendis and oeming, but i just didnt have the budget to get into a new book. this web version was like the 'free first time' that drug dealers offer, and now im addicted. and out of money.
thanks alot.

this is awesome guys! Thanks so much for the feedback, and we are more than happy to share Powers with you for free.
Big Powers plans this year... including getting more issues out!

I thought it was a great comic. A little too much cut and paste on the art, but overall pretty good in both story and art.

Hi, hello, hi - will you be my friend? :D
Its really cool that you have gotten into the trades! Man does this story really take off, and if you have not gotten to say, Supergroup yet, or Forever, you're really going to dig it! ...back to stalking.

Hello,
I read "Powers" for the first time through this sample. I must have seen the free samples advertised somewhere. And I actually read the entire "Who Killed Retro Girl" story. And I must say, I was blown away!
I liked it so much that I got a bunch of the trades. So now I own trades #1-8. I re-read #1 and have since read through #3 and am starting trade #4. So yah, this free sample got me started on this crazy "Powers" series and I'm going to get the future trades too. I have to say excellent work to Oeming and Bendis. This series is so kickass!!!

Thanks to Tim for doing such an amazing job! I'd never read it before, but will be picking up all of the trades, as my monetary flow allows. I decided to stop reading at around page 60.

If you feel like doing what the writer of Manhunter did by mailing me a signed copy of the 1st trade, I wouldn't mind buying your series.:D

eh, it's not struggling like Manhunter is, so I wouldn't expect it. It's a damn good series though I would make sure your folks know what kind of content it contains (ie sex jokes, nudity, cussing).

It's doing better than Manhunter? Or just well for a Image comic?
Also, my parents don't really care what comics i buy, money's th e only issue.

I think it does better than Manhunter, but it's at Icon now. There's no way it's getting canceled as long as Bendis is in good favor at Marvel. btw you changed your screenname? why?
