JLu is one of the most criminally underappreciated comics out there. I've loved the DCU animation-based comics since Batman Adventures kicked off in '92, and thank the good lord they're still around. ("The Batman Strikes" can kiss my ass, though.)
I remember watching "The Mercenaries" with my dad when I was little. The memories are pretty hazy, but I remember being pretty impressed with it. It's one of the earliest hardass action movies I can remember watching.

Wow. It's almost hard to believe that Batman Adventures started in 1992. I know it's a cliche' ,but time sure has flown by.

The JLU series is one of the best examples of solid, stand alone story telling in comics today. I'd love to see the book get more attention and reader's eyeballs. Folks don't understand that writing a stand alone issue is a lot harder than when you have 5 issues to take your time with. The JLU book deserves a lot of praise.

Your amigo,

Beau
