I was thinking, I don't remember them showing Jarvis anywhere since Civil War started. Does anyone know where he made his last appearance. I think it would be kind of interesting to give the old codger a couple of panels expressing his feelings on the war. Although, I'm sure it's assumed that he is still working for Stark in the tower, I don't see him going against Cap and supporting what Tony is doing in Civil War. I think it makes more sense for him to leave the country in demonstration over the ridiculous Civil War then it does for the Thing to leave. He's been around the Avengers since the beginning, so I don't see how a writer misses that story beat to show his emotional reaction to the events...

Wait...I just realized, nobody gives a fu#k about Jarvis.

What the fu#k was I thinking:confused: ? Sorry...nevermind.

He was in NA #24 with Tony!
So it seems that Jarvis is on the side of the money!!!

Well he got shot in NA 25, but he's probably not dead.
If he is though, he's with death. And you know Thanos is gonna get pissed she's got herself a new lackey. Maybe he'll come take it out on Earth's heroes, knocking some sense back into them. I suggest the title Infinite Butler-envy.

He's not a hero, he's a dude working for a paycheck.

a scene with a conflicted jarvis quitting his job would have been really meaningful i think.

Not really. He's a hero in his own right. The first time the Avengers disbanded, after the whole Dr. Druid/Ravonna thing, he was the only one left and was able to help out a bit against the Inferno invasion that was going on at that time. He's not just a guy working for a pay cheque, there's a lot more to his character.

He's with Tony. See New Avengers #25.

He should have been shown as being conflicted. Yes he's been the Stark family butler for years and watched Tony grow up, but he was also Cap's only confdant for a time when the shield slinger returned to the moden world. He would be torn watching two men who are like sons to him be at odds with each other.

Marvel totally missed the boat on a great story-telling opportunity like this.

Exactly. We are talking about someone who has been in like every Avengers book ever, has served all of them for years, and when a war breaks out between them all, they don't even show his thoughts on it. I don't see him just shutting up and making Stark's potpies without sitting Tony down and telling him what an asshole he's being. It makes no sense why they haven't shown his reaction. Jarvis should c0ck clap Tony...in the face.:o
