We all love to see our favorite heroes go the dark side once in while, so what heroes voyage to darkness did you enjoy the most and what heroes could see being villains?

Well Adam Warlock eventually has to go bad as The Magus, Reed Richards has apparently gone either gone mad or bad and The Beast has apparently gone bad. Jean Grey has the potential to go bad. So does Professor X. Thor has apparently gone bad but don't quote me on it it's just what I've heard. That's about all I know of.

I thought Wolverine as Death in the Apocalypse: The Twelve story a couple years back was pretty neat.
and how many times has Havok gone bad only to come back as good as new?

I thought Molecule Man had good potential as a super villain.

The Punisher. I think he works best as an adversary for someone like Daredevil or Spider-Man. And it would just make sense that he would completely loose it one day.

I think it would be kinda cool to see Iron Man flip out and go bad. Remember when his suit went bad? that was very cool. I can see Tony thinking like a criminal mastermind and building weapons and armor specifically to combat the Avengers. that would have some cool potential.

There was an assistant editor at Marvel a few years ago (Gregg Schigiel, maybe?) who said in an interview that he had pitched a series about Starfox (Eros) going bad. At first I thought it was dumb, because I like Starfox, but the more I thought about it, the more I liked it. The guy has super-strength, and can manipulate emotions to make people happy. That's a power just begging to be abused! I think there's a lot more potential to this guy as a villain than a reserve Avenger or whatever.
I really liked it when Colossus joined Magneto's cause a few years ago. Colossus just seemed like the kind of guy who needs someone to tell him what to do. Cyclops, too. I always felt that Cyclops, as devoted as he is to Professor X, would have been that devoted to Magneto if only he had met him first. He is to Professor X as Toad is to Magneto.

Molecule Man WAS a super-villain. It's just that he was reformed by the love of a good woman when he hooked up with Volcana.

Weren't there some issues of the last volume of Captain Marvel, in which he was evil?

You're right. Such wasted potential *sigh* He had the power for it...

You tell me, PAD-fan; I have no idea. The last Captain Marvel issue I read was number 10 or so of PAD's first volume. I don't have a clue what has happened since then.

He appeared in the "Time Flies"-arc around issues #27 - #29, I think.
And he was at least bad. Don't know about evil, but he wasn't on the side of the good guys, if I recall it right. (My memories are a nit hazy on that arc, guess I have to reread it.) :)

Punisher would be a good choice.
After reading the King Hyperion arc in Exiles, the possibilities are endless; but only if they did it like that, went all the way evil, no looking back.

I've always wanted Longshot(the mullet sporting X-man) to go bad. It could be really interesting as his "luck" powers are morality based were if he does good every one around him has ggod luck. But what if he was evil? How would his powers behave? Just have someone kill Dazzler for some motivation and instant new villian. Could be fun...

How about having someone unstoppable, like Batman go bad? As brilliant a tactician as he is, it would be interesting to see what the superheroes devise to fight him.

Captain Atom. I got my hands on some Armageddon Annuals from 1991 and really got the feeling that Monarch coulda been somebody. He could bena contendah! But, they made him Hawk instead. Hawk, a character on the same level as Guy Gardner on the Jackassometer. But, who knows, maybe they'll do a hypertime where Monarch is revealed to be Captain Atom.
Justin Idea.

I'd like to see NFL Superpro go evil and murder some people and then I'd like him to be introduced to the Punisher's 12 gauge.

I have to agree with you on this one. Batman going rogue would be almost as scary as Superman going rogue. Could you imagine Batman with absolutely no moral filter? And don't say Owlman because he blows.
I'd also like to see what Captain America would do if he went over to the other side.

Probably lead the Avengers to attack a Middle Eastern country with no imminent threat to the United States under the guise of possessing 'Weapons of Mass Destruction'.
Oops, thats been done already.

It'd be cool to see him go evil but not as cool as Batman. Cap isn't as devious and doesn't have the obsessive nature Bats does. That's more the Black Panther's gig.

I always liked that. Possibly the most powerful guy in the world and all he wants to do is hang out with his woman and watch TV.

Do you truly see Punisher as a hero in the first place? At best he is an anti-hero, at worst he is a cold blooded murderer!

As powerful as he is now, that would be a pretty big deal.
