Seven Soldiers #1, the long-awaited final issue to Morrison's magnum opus, is set to ship on October 25th. If you start today and read 1 issue a day, you'll finish on the Tuesday before SS 1 hits the stores.
I actually started on Saturday with the JLA:Classified 1-3 arc (Morrison/McGuinness/Vines) to get me started.
I'm reading them in the order of presentation - it's listed in the back of each issue (regardless of actual shipped dates). You could read them as minis, too, but you might not get the x-over sense.
Enjoy. Please remember - this thread is for fans of the series, not pissers and moaners who didn't like the series. I myself was not happy with the postponement of SS 1, but after it's over that won't be a factor.
Pissers and moaners - start your own threads you'll probably get more posts

I was thinking about rereading it. Not sure I can do one a day though.

I'll probably lag here and there, too, but I'm ambitious. Even if I have to double (triple?) up, it's the spirit that counts.

I already reread them all! I dont have the willpower to do it again.
I really liked Bulleteer at the end. The last issue was fantastic.

More that I won't be able to stop at one a day. I'll probably read them in bunches as we get closer.

Good call on re-reading JLA Classified. I loved that Morrison tied his arc into 7S. I picked Franenstein up in singles, but the rest I've been reading in trades. I gotta say that I am pretty confused after Book 3. Plus, DC didn't correct what we assumed to be a "mistake" in Frankenstein #1--the pages with the dates & the train(s) falling. So, I'm not sure sure it is a mistake. Either way, I still don't see that page as making much sense.
I cannot wait for Book 4. This series has been so good and rich!

Excellent idea. I'm going to dig them all out tonight and organize them so I can get started with that.

This is a cool idea. I don't know if I have the time or the discipline to read one a day every day but I might give it a shot. I doubt I understood the series when I was reading it way back when the issues were being released. I KNOW I didn't understand Zatanna or Mr. Miracle...
Okay. I'm definitely going to start re-reading this stuff. Why not? (why not: I'm buying 13 more comics tomorrow, I have Netflix DVDs to watch, I have a screenplay to write, I have a job that insists I come to work 5 days a week, I have a girlfriend that insists we spend time together, I have a blog to update, I have shows on TiVo, I have video games I'm in the middle of, I have a book I'm reading, I subscribe to a couple magazines that I'm behind on, I'm going to Disneyland on Friday...)

I'll wait for the book to be confirmed as coming out, then reread the series in the five days before that Wednesday.
