There's no way that it will be late. That shipping list is far from final.

unless there is a last minute change it will be on time they have stated they have through isssue 35 or so done.

And there's no Bat or Super family titles. Admittedly, it's a rather short list, but that list is never final. Keep an eye out for a full one on Friday from Midtown and various other comic sites.

A midweek list like that can't be counted on.

I really think we need a sticky announcing this, since every other week someone thinks something will be late because it's not on the preliminary list.

Sounds good to me.

52 will not be late.

I agree. DC will pull every creator off every book to help before they let 52 be late. They've put themselves on the line with this book, and they're not going to screw it up.

You want to bet on that?

Just that it ships on time?

Or could we add the coda that it needs to ship on time with the current creative team?

The only way it will be late is if there is some sort of natural disaster, emergency,or power outage that stops the presses.

It would be a sad day in comics when a team of 10+ artists and 4 writers can't put out a weekly comic book.

So there should be an act of God addendum?

It looks liek Kramer can do 52 and a few Detective issues on the side too (although I don't think his recent stuff is at the level of his JSA pages). But I've said for a while that hes one of the most underrated artists in comics.

I've never seen his JSA pages but I've really liked his recent Detective work. Although I wish Kirk hadn't gone Marvel exclusive.

Older Don Kramer Art: http://www.donkramerart.com/originalpencils.htm

Face the Face Pages: http://www.splashpageart.com/GalleryRoom.asp?GSub=501

Compare that with some of his Detective stuff. His art is still amazing but the older stuff was a lot better.

I can only hope when this 52 thing clears up that someone sees the light and puts MOrrison and Kramer together on uh...anything.

His JSA art looks almost Cassaday like.

I think he's better then Cassaday.

But I've grown quite cynical with Cassaday. I said Laura Martin should get the art credit with assists by JC. I just get the feeling he's letting the colours do more then his pencils.

Yeah, I agree. He was my favorite artist on JSA and those pages from the Dr. Fate mini look great too.

Wow. I agree. Wow. :)

Kramer is one of my favorite artists, definitely one of the best ones at DC...

Midtown doesn't magically have access to a shipping list others don't.

The list that the original poster mentioned was Diamond's "expected to ship next week" list. The one Midtown posts is an initial inventory that all comic stores receive via e-mail on Fridays.

I think it's pretty obvious that that list isn't even anywhere close to what's coming out next week.

Kramer rocks.

But his 52 and Detective stuff just isn't on the level of his JSA/Dr. Fate and Face to Face stuff. I think its the deadlines they're giving him.

didio and co. put the DC name on the line for this to come out on time. no way its late

I think anyone with half a brain can tell the list is incomplete. I highly doubt unless Joe Quesada become DC's Editor In Chief that 52 will ship late. They already have 30 plus issues of 52 in the can, so unless all the writers and artists develop a Bryan Hitch/Steve McNiven work ethic, 52 will be on time.

I hope its not going to be late, that would be a real stinker,
It can't be late,
DC must Show the other side how to run to schedule on a weekly basis,
after all its the only Civil way to run a business,
Isn't it ?

I agree that it won't be late, but... Not to be technical, but the last we heard was that they had the SCRIPT for Issue 35...which means they don't have the art...But that's still the SCRIPT for what...14 weeks ahead of us now? Yeah, i think they'll pretty much have it completely done a good two months before the series is set to end.
