Why is this just a reposted Marvel press release instead of an announcement about the awards?

To be fair, the ballot is:

All-Star Superman
Civil War
Ex Machina
Marvel Zombies
Walking Dead

One wonders if Walking Dead doesn't have more traction with Spike's demographic and if Marvel Zombies should be pushed instead, seeing as how it'll probably have longer legs than Civil War.

There are actually several comic categories including (*wince*) "Best Rack on the Rack".

Thanks for the information. Rather than attacking the first post, it would have been much more constructive for you to message Matt Brady and suggest that the thread be constructed in a different manner. I see nothing wrong with the fact that MARVEL wants folks to vote for its book.

How can CW be on the list when it hasnt even finished yet? Also it doesnt seem right to judge a mini-series along with monthly ongoing titles.

To be fair, All-Star Superman is hardly a monthly... :D

Haven't read marvel zombies and only ever read issue 1 of walking dead on the image web-site, but of the three i have read civil war is third down the list so i'm gonna go vote for all-star superman because grant and frank have done the impossible: They've made me really like a Superman comic and that deserves something.

Don't get me wrong, i don't hate civil war, i think it's been quite interesting, but ex machina and all-star superman are just better.

Why would I vote for Civil War when I can vote for something good? My vote went to The Walking Dead.

"One of these things is not like the other..."

That list is great except for one book. It has possibly the greatest solo super-hero comic in years (with wonderful art). And also one of the greatest examinations of super-heroes and politics with a fantastic story (and also wonderful art). Another book has one of the funnest concepts and titles to come out of the the Big Two. And yet another is simlar to the one before it by the same writer even... but it's still a great book. Oh, and then there's a lame crossover.

Who would pick Civil War out of the rest of those awesome comics?

I would love to see either All-Star Superman or Ex Machina win (though either of the zombie books would be cool too).

To be fair, All Star Superman wasn't intended to be a monthly.

Civil War was.

What? No link to the site to vote on? (Even though I'm not fond of any of the titles for various reasons.)

As much as i like Civil War (it's the most exciting Marvel event in YEARS), i'll vote for Walking dead......since it's really good.

I only read the first 6 issues or so, but Walking dead is really boring based on that
