Yes, its been announced as a six-issue mini series. The first two issues are a revamped origin featuring two light-hearted mysteries and co-starring Rex the Wonderdog. The third and fourth issues show his descent into alcoholism and obscurity followed by his eventual redemption. The last two issues take place in an alternate future where he leads a new Shadowpact featuring the descendents of a number of mystic DC heroes. Bill Willingham is doing the art and co-writing with Grant Morrison, who apparently helped plot the trippy time and immortality-based stuff to be featured in the last two issues.
