I just picked these up but haven't started reading them. Just wondering if anyone else grabbed em and what they thought.

Here's an Amazon link to the Sunday book (http://www.amazon.com/Superman-Sunday-Classics-1939-1943/dp/1402737866/sr=8-1/qid=1157749504/ref=pd_bbs_1/104-1097157-2755962?ie=UTF8&s=books)

And Here's a link to The Dailies book (http://www.amazon.com/Superman-Dailies-1939-1940-Jerry-Siegel/dp/1563894602/sr=8-3/qid=1157749504/ref=pd_bbs_3/104-1097157-2755962?ie=UTF8&s=books).

Both of these are soft cover, but I managed to snag the hard covers of both.

I have the softcovers of the dailies...never got around to getting the book of Sundays.

For me, they are hit and miss. Sometimes entertaining and sometimes seeming like they're just treading water. Still, they're part of history, and it's great to see stuff like that collected for future generations.

Yeah... of the few i have read some were surprisingly good... while others not so much.

My expectations for the stories are admitedly lower just based on the period... but some are pretty decent.

Nicely said.

That's why I got them.
