I am really liking this book. Steve Niles is a great fit here. This is easily the most interesting work I've seen from him. Nice, subtle, dark humor and a lot of fun. I loved the brief Batman appearance. Just showed up long enough to ask him if he was "good". Heh! :D

And that art by Justiniano...holy moly. They could not have found a more perfect artist for this title. His style is so perfectly suited for a book with this flavor. Madness, darkness, demented. I love when The Creeper is in the driver seat how the world around him looks warped. Buildings, streets, everything looks crooked to match Creepers perspective. A terrific touch. He's going to be able to write his own ticket after this series wraps up (hopefully it keeps going with Justiniano on board though).

Anyone else digging this?

Yes, I'm really digging this version of the Creeper. From the 'split personality' aspect to the geek out moment when Creeper/Jack meets the Batman, its all good. I especially love the horror elements that have been thrown in with the 'monster' also created from Yatz's serum. Niles actually makes me a little worried about Jack's future with that creature.

I liked the way this issue flipped the whole "Good and Evil" thing. The twist about what the money Yatz used to fund the formula's development was for was great, and the scene of the former crimeboss cradling his son was actually moving. The idea of the Creeper and Jack being seperate entities is a good one, with the Creeper seeming to be the better part of Jack. I'm enjoying this, and it ties with Trials of Shazam as the best of the Brave New World titles.

im loving this book also.

im so impressed by niles to not go down the 'dr jekel and mr hyde' cliche. it seems like jack and the creeper will make a good team. instead of a banner/hulk team that i expected.

Im enjoying the moral ambiguity of Jack and the Creeper. And Justiniano's art is terrifiic. I'm usually more about the writing than the art, but this one would be worth it just fot the art.
