<blockquote>The Baltimore Comic-Con and PopFun Merchandising, LLC have officially announced that this year’s show exclusive ‘Toon Tumbler® will feature the classic introduction of Mary Jane to our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Marc Nathan, show promoter, requested this image because he has always contended it was one of the pivotal moments in the history of the Marvel universe. PopFun’s president, Paul Merolle explained, “We’re thrilled to offer this show exclusive, not only because Marc requested it, but especially because John Romita, Sr. will be at the show, thanks to ACTOR. It’s kind of our little tribute.”
A clear version of the exclusive Mary Jane ‘Toon Tumbler® will be offered free to the first 150 guests each day of the show. A limited number of both clear and frosted versions of the ‘Toon Tumbler® will be made available for sale to attendees throughout the weekend.
'Toon Tumblers® feature classic comic and animated characters on high-quality, pint glasses. They are available in Diamond’s Previews, at select retailers, comic books shops, and through the Pop Fun website. PopFun will be setting up at the Baltimore Comic-Con, where it will be selling its current releases, taking pre-orders on upcoming products, and previewing prototypes.
