Well, nothing new from Marvel, but Ex Machina and Wildcats is freaking annoying. Peace.

I dont understand what happened with Fantastic Four? Whats up with the dates for that? Moved a whole year? Yeahbuhwhat?

Someone made a typo in the first date change. Leading to this amusing readjustment. It happens, and surprisingly not very often.

How can the Stan Lee books be late. Why weren't they finished before solicting them? Are the big two just publishing TOO MANY books that the printers can't handle!

Actually, it looks like it was pushed back two months.

Does anyone know what Civil War: Choosing Sides is? Never seen this solicited before.

It's just a one-shot tie-in. Nope, it wasn't solicited, actually. And nope, we don't have any idea about creators or characters involved.

It looks like it'll be a recap of events so far.

What is really frustrating is the number of DC reprint books. Who in the Wide Wide World of Sports do you run behind on REPRINTS. Is there a ink shortage somewhere???

And Gotham by Gaslight is a reprint of a reprint!!!!

Well, it was in the New Civil War Checklist so technically not a totally new announcement with the shipping changes. Doesn't change the fact that we know nothing of the creative team though. That Daily Bugle October Newspaper on the other hand... (assuming it's NOT a reprint of the first one)

Reprinting from film in the digital age can often be more difficult (and more expensive) than printing something new. Jonah Hex and Quitter should be digital (I'm not sure when Gotham by Gaslight came out originally), but the others certainly aren't.

I was just thinking the same thing.
but then again, isn't that the same thing that happened to the original title?

ha ha.

the pic is of HAJI, a former stripper/exotic dancer whom you can see in such Russ Meyer films as MOTOR PSYCHO, FASTER PUSSCAT! KILL! KILL!, and BEYOND THE VALLEY OF THE DOLLS.

What about Mondo Topless? "Enough of the palaver...let's get the show on the road..." :)

I might have to rent one of those to see Ms. Haji. :)

And now New Avengers #24 is delayed as well? And that's even before we get to the issues that will be delayed for a month or two by Civil War. :(

Speaking of which... after looking through the Marvel Previews on the weekend, how in the hell did Marvel not have enough time to pull the CW affected books from their November solicits? You can't tell me 2 weeks or more wasn't enough to say "okay, lets leave out the ASM page, the FF one, the Capt America page...". It doesn't make sense.

What makes me a little angry is that Marvel didn't stop or couldn't stop Cabe/Deadpool 31 from happening, since there is a spoiler for CW in there, but I couldn't stop myself reading it...
Well it's not a big spoiler, but it makes me sad :(.

And it's kinda funny that Wildcats 1 will be late :), cause when I read the article I told myself,
I'm gonna get it, but it will be late :D

Wow these are some really good sentences... just kidding:)

If a book comes out in the same month it was solicited for, that's not really late in my book.

Cost less to leave it there.

I'm not completely sure about that - wouldn't the cost savings from having fewer pages in the book offset the 'exhaustive time and effort' to take out half a dozen pages?

But I agree with your sentiments - it's 'easier' for them to leave it as is. :(

Damn that Stan Lee!

If he wasn't making third-rate Sci-Fi Channel series, his books would come out on time!

Any chance of seeing updates on DBPro books? I know one of the one's my LCS is waiting on (the Anita Blake series) is late 6 ways to Sunday, regardless of which glowing press release you look at. One PR said June, another said July, and here we are in September, with still no sign of when we can expect to see this. I have a feeling the plan to have the first TPB available in January is going to fall through as well...

Anyway, back to what's on the list, Ex Maxhina??? NO!!!!
