<blockquote>Three words ... it only takes three words to send chills through the hearts of the Fantastic Four and send a buzz through comics' fandom ... Those three words are "DOCTOR DOOM's BACK!"
Anticipation is high over "UNTHINKABLE", the upcoming FANTASTIC FOUR story arc that begins in March's FANTASTIC FOUR #67, concludes in July's extra-sized FANTASTIC FOUR #71 (the 500th issue of series), and promises to leave Reed Richards a changed man, and DOOM - the FF's greatest adversary - completely redefined for the 21st century!
"To my surprise, the buzz and anticipation around 'Unthinkable' has been stronger than we'd ever imagined it would be - and that's great, because I guarantee you that I carry that energy and excitement into the finished scripts," says series writer Mark Waid. "Expectations are high, but we're committed to delivering a landmark FF story - and the whole creative team is pulling out all the stops to make it unforgettable."
Readers and retailers can preview that storyline right now at Marvel.com with a special 10-page dotComic preview of the FF #67, available right now at <a href="http://dotcomics.marvel.com/lib/launchissue.php?issue=150&wsid>=" target="_blank">http://dotcomics.marvel.com/lib/launchissue.php?issue=150&wsid>=</a>
FANTASTIC FOUR #67, the first chapter in the "UNTHINKABLE" story arc, goes on sale March 26th, and retailers are reminded the Order Cut-off date is March 6th. Readers, ask your local retailer to reserve a copy!</blockquote>

Wow... it's pretty solid stuff! I'm now curious AND impressed! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />
Looks like it could be a matter of child-warfare after all...

Did this slip to the bottom of the Press Release pile? The dot-comic has only been up for a week or so.
That said, I'll have to check out #67 (tho' Doom's portrayal seems a bit off... both as pencilled and as written).
Thanks,
Fan4Fan
I am enjoying Mark Waid's work on this book.
Although I like Ringo's work a lot in general I am still uncertain if I like him on this book in particular.
Oh the inking and the colors look good. :)

I knew it was there about a week ago, but I only got it to work today.
It looks pretty good.
This is the classiest I've seen Doom treated in too long. Favourite panel: the silent one with the outside of Doom's hotel room, where he has dumped the TV and lamps. Pretty neat.

I like the idea of dotcomics. I like that i can read crossgen in the quiet of my home, with out being looked down upon by the fanboys in the shop when i buy MERIDIAN. I have used the MARVEL.DOTCOMICS to sample Elektra and not buy it, or BANNER and buy it.
But why should i spend all my 56k modem time downloading adds. A 14-page preview with 4 adds. These were easy to get past, but sometimes the add takes over the viewer and forces me stop reading. And 4 adds in the 16 page AVENGERS preview.
I like adds in comics. I really like how ABC comics put all the adds at the end of the book. I still look through them. But i do not want adds in promotion comics online. Popups are bad enough.
SMASH DOTCOMIC ADDS!!!!!

nice ...nice casual doctor a rarity at least :)
tsk tsk tsk
I have rather to add something:
-remark the confrontation with the old lady: he talks about changing the past
-remark how he throws out the computer and uses the cards: back to the roots
do we will meet Doctor Doom, Sorcerer Supreme?
(as depicted in a what if story)
-remark: he talks about the fantastic four but doesn't want to make a revenge on them ???
or is this just a minder twist in the story? change history ...destroy the FF ...

Oh definitely, I know I'm looking forward to this story-arc. I've been speculating about it for the past couple weeks. I Know Waid is going to keep us on the edge of our seats!

I also like the ABC approach.

On marvel website is a line that says what Doom is planning: he is going really dirty...
